To run a probe you need to add an external relay module board and connect it to one of the output pins then connect probe to relay.

Hi Limit switches have to be set up in the IO setup. You need to asign a pin number to each limit switch ie: -X axis or +Xaxis as well as NC or NO also change off to ON.

Thanks for the videos they have helped a bunch ..it doesn't seem that my inputs or outputs are functioning ..I cannot see anything showing a status change on the input detect page when i test my limit switch or estop..And i am not seeing any continuity or voltage change on the output pins when i activate them in the output detect ..Also i am needing to be able to run a probe but i do not see a pin that would be used for this that it would read when doing a M31 command ..Any help would be greatly appreciated.thanks in advance

Hi, great video. Thank you 👍 Do hou have any idea on how you will handle tool lenghts ? I think that in the manual they speak aboit using coordinate systems for every tool by using G92 command but it seems a bit odd and not very practical. Thank you again

Hi, sorry for the late reply. PT stands for port. So when you use the output ports, you need to assign ports to each output so that you can connect, say, a relay to that port. Output ports are numbered from 0 to 8. On zerowing question. Eaxh axis has negative (N) and positive(P) side so for example on Y axis if the home is supposed to be at +200 then you set it to be P and if say at -100 then set it to N. Hope this is clear.

Do you know when you go to I/O button/System and scrolling down you can see 8 OutPt1 -OutPt8.You can change On/Off, N.O or N.C, but what means PT behind them? And under the Jog tab i find xyzc ZeroSt which i can change from N to P. What is this for?

Thx for the very well explaining. It helped me to understand a lot more than from the so called "manual". Only thing you could do better is to move the cam more towards the controller, so that we can see the screen better.
