QR train drivers passing red lights
มุมมอง 9453 ปีที่แล้ว
QR (Queensland Rail) drivers have been caught passing red lights without authority. The reason given in the news story is that there isn't a European Train Protection system installed in Queensland yet but the State Government says that this will be installed on some lines in the near future. Some drivers are distracted and made these mistakes. There is more detail in yesterdays Courier Mail, s...

Enoshima Enoden railway Japan
มุมมอง 3336 ปีที่แล้ว
Enoshima Enoden railway in Japan..some trainspotting trackside and a ride. Made famous (to some) by the Manga series known as "Slam Dunk!". Thousands of Chinese tourists who are fans of the Manga series come to the railway crossing in front of the beach to take selfies. One woman was even in her wedding dress dancing in front of a camera man. Nice place but weird.

Nagano Earthquake 12th May 2018
มุมมอง 2.7K6 ปีที่แล้ว
Was on the Snow Monkey Express train heading toward Nagano station enjoying the countryside when everyones phone started screaming "Jishin Desu" (An Earthquake). Even my iPhone started doing it very loudly. Our train then came to a full stop and there was a little bit of shaking. Only my second Earthquake but it was quite worrying. Train was stuck for a while but it did end up completing the re...

Sakamoto Cable Car to Mt Hiei (坂本ケーブル)
มุมมอง 4516 ปีที่แล้ว
The Sakamoto Cable Car is the longest cable car in Japan (there are more than a few in Japan) and goes up Mt Hiei where there is the world heritage site Enryakuji. The view from the top (on a clear day) is fantastic and the Enryakuji Temple is really lovely to visit. When I went there it was the middle of the week and it wasn't crowded at all. In the middle of the journey the cable cars pass ea...

Japanese train trip on the Keihan Ishiyama Sakamoto Line (京阪石山坂本線) from Biwako-Hamaotsu Station to Sakamoto-hieizanguchi Station. Keihan Keishin line Train or Tram? 京阪京津線
มุมมอง 9886 ปีที่แล้ว
North of Kyoto in Japan is this fabulous line called the Keihan Keishin Line (京阪京津線). The train initially operates in the Subway then climbs out of the ground and operates on a very tight and twisty mountain line..it then emerges out on the street near Lake Biwa (琵琶湖) and operates almost as a Tram with it battling for space with cars, motorbikes and bicycles as it arrives on to Biwako-Hamaotsu ...

I met Jin in Brisbane when we had English classes at an academy. She was a cheerful, pleasant, happy and bright person. Losing a person like that due to the incompetence of the authorities, when another life was already lost years before, is unforgivable.
@@vendettaLTD Her name was Jin? I think that’s a Korean name. I’m sorry to hear that you knew the victim of this accident. Just sad.
Perhaps it's time to reopen this line and get those dangerous cargoes off our roads and back on rail where they belong; as sadly demonstrated by the Bruce Highway fertiliser truck explosion.
Instead of showing the cars and the parking area this was supposed to be about the loop and we only saw a portion of the line's. The terrain is nice, all the surrounding hills and features are really good but where's the loop? Can you do it again and actually follow a train around the loop so we can actually see the lay of it and the topigraphical feature's as well? It was a nice day.
Buddy, I did this on my own with my own money. I don’t get paid. Give it a rest. If you fancy yourself as a film maker GET OFF YOUR ASS AND MAKE A VIDEO YOURSELF!
@@trainingtheworld5093 YOU made the statement about the video being about the BORDER LOOP. Instead all we saw was some of the track and a heap of bush. What a crock of shit. Why don't you prove it too yourself that you can actually do something that you say your going to do. GET OFF YOUR ARSE AND DO IT FUCKIN' PROPERLY then advertise what you've got. You will probably get shit load more views and nicer comments. That's what happens when you get things right, you sound like your a spoilt brat, woke, teal, greeny snotty sort of person who is used to not getting told NO often enough. Pull your head out of your ARSE and learn to take a bit of critisism it'll make a better person out of you.
My favourite bit is when it goes between Nudgee and Boondall! A lot of bushland there!
I’d like to see a video from Cleveland to Shorncliffe.
Wwwwwlou😢 ukynyjuju
We need high speed rail
The poor Max is gone now! ☹
I love those NGRs
Excellent walkthrough and attention to detail.
ah the good old days, where the NGR was thought of as the next big thing & not the next big flop that they turned out to be lmaoo
0:58 cute, even those trains kiss each other😍
It got refurbed!
Ngrs looked better with no stickers
Never seen em80 ever
it was retired in 2019
why are running to the train? you need to wait for the next train to come in.
I love boarding bullet trains, but I have never been on one! Also, I know a singer who has long hair what lives in Japan and in a forest, Miku. I have never been to Japan! 🇯🇵 I am just staying in Scotland. 🏴 They sound like a low pitched ScotRail class 365 and also, I have just been in Spain, I AM GOING TO ECUADOR! Japan used to not be my favourite country, now it is.
interurban train!
Great video, thanks! But the Japanese train's form looks a little strange sometimes when you are used to the look of European High-Speed-Trains 🙂
I saw smu 202 the other day at Petrie it looked like it had been refurbished and had blue seats it didn’t have Queensland rail logos in the doors or translink logos either so it looks like it will live longer
Next time please do an SMU 260 on the shorncliffe line
THE SIMPSONS:
Did anyone see The Simpsons at Springfield?
i am moving out of my mums house when i am 15 yrs old and i would like to go on some trips with you on ency trains 🤘🤘😁😁
SMU 200's are my favourite QR Trains. Really don't like seeing that. Don't want the Trains scrapped too.
Yeah the 200 series are some of my favourites too. Unfortunately it looks like they won’t be around much longer because they are very unreliable. There is another 6 car set right now at port of Brisbane. Difficult to see them but they are parked among emu trains at the stabling area.
R.I.P EMUs😢😢😭😭😭 EMUs left in service: 33-59 EMUs that no longer exist/retired: 01-32, 42, 54, 60-88
Are you onboard a SMU 200 or a 220?
@Rovina Kumar the Train is an SMU 200

Can you do one of Redbank?
I did have plans to do Redbank but my drone died earlier this year. Bit pissed that my drone died without warning so I'm not keen on buying another one yet.
All good.
the correct answer is: interurban!!!
If you knew the buffer !😉
13:00 lol he almost Missed the train 😂😂🤣🤣🤪
i dont really have any complaints other than the seats, im a smaller human so i seat perfectly fine in them, they do seem a bit squishy though, but the seats holy crap theyre hard and awkward and uncomfortable
The seats are ass breakers, I usually stand up.
That Wynnum West level crossing was bad not the first time it's happened it's a second time
I feel sorry for her now she has no family and now she's just gonna go up and stay place where she belongs and she's going to celebrate Easter of in heaven
@@ryanschwartz8281 If heaven exists, she will undoubtedly be there.
There’s an uncanny resemblance to Melbourne’s high capacity metro trains..
More like the Melbourne high capacity trains have an uncanny resemblance to the NGR
That European systems for those who want to know is called ETCS (European Train Control System)
I advoid them like the plague .
Agreed - the comment about the unique tram/train connection makes no sense, although the Deputy Premier probably meant that the two modes connected at one structure. This is actually quite rare and does not exist in Melbourne in this form - that I know of (but see below). However all they did in Helensvale was to plonk a new light rail terminus next to the existing heavy rail station. Passengers still have to use the overhead passages to get to the other mode. Manchester is another rare example of integration. The city has two separated heavy rail stations in each of which a tram route has a dedicated platform. Platform changing is a slow mode-transfer though. It's quicker to have trams beside a station: In Melbourne's busiest tram route along Swanston Street/St. Kilda Road - and therefore the world's busiest tram corridor - you can get off a tram outside Flinders St. Station, be over the road and down a ramp to a train platform in less time than it takes to change between train platforms. The qualification above is that Melbourne's new underground rail station called ANZAC will connect directly to the tram stop in St. Kilda Road above it, which technically is one structure. Similarly in Sydney the light rail stops beside but is not connected to Central station.
"Digital Entertainment Screens" which roughly translates to "Soundless Advertising"
Will the ekka 2021 be still on
Lets hope so but who knows what will happen this year?
the train always wins in these situations
Yep true
bet the train is not that damged becuase of how durable it is also im blaming the driver of the car thinking it was a good idea to mess with a train which is never going to end well
I live near where it happened she drove around the boom gates
I'll be trying to upload more transport news stories as they happen here in QLD, trying to revive this channel after hiatus.
nice. Brisbane doesn't have train stops like Melbourne and Sydney, but the ETCS level 2 should be installed on all lines between Northgate and Yerrongpilly. Other then maybe around Beenleigh and Petrie, it's not nearly as dangerous on the other parts of the network so they don't really need to install ETCS on those sections.
Good to see you back mate.
Thanks mate
There are STILL 28 old EMU's running, when there is 77 SMU's & 42 IMU's and now you come out with NEW NGR's without fazing out the old stock
Nooooooo you've underestimated HUGELY, there's still ATLEAST 40% EMU's running today.
@@jasonpeisley6031 Brisbane still has the worst public transport
I live near here
Clarks Logan City Bus service. I hope the driver will be ok. My uncle was a bus driver and was attacked, I feel so sorry for this driver today. You don't get over things like this.
Sound is a little screwed up. My transcoding computer screwed it up sorry. I hope to upload more rail and transport news stories, Sub and like if you want me to work on this.
A very good capture, if you had waited til after peak services you would've seen more units in the yard. You should do an updated video when the Cross river tunnel work starts to change the layout of the yard. I left Mayne at the end of 2019 and already they had removed the roads in Old Mayne shunting yard and demolished the wagon shops in Normandy yard. I have aerial photos of when Mayne had both the Steam & Diesel Locomotive servicing sheds along with the original carriage sheds. It's certainly different today. And for how long will it be there at all.. who knows?
Thanks for your comment. Yeah it might be a good idea to get some video of the cross river rail construction. Just difficult/ impossible to fly a drone in the metro Brisbane area due to no fly zones. I am thinking to make some more videos for the channel as I have some new camera equipment.
Which country and state is this in?
Australia, Queensland.
@@trainingtheworld5093 Ohhhh ok I never knew that
Why can’t we have a shinkansen?
It's a good question. Main reasons are due to the extreme high cost and politicians comparing high speed rail with air travel. Also many Australians have never experienced high speed rail like Shinkansen or KTX so it's difficult idea to sell politically. I think it will happen one day but we need a political party who can effectively sell the idea to the public. I think doing a simple run between Sydney city and Newcastle might be a good start.
