How I Built A Thrust Vector Controlled Rocket

In this video I show my journey in bulding my first rocket, that has thrust vector control. Feel free to give me suggestions, ask questions in the comments, or reach out to me! Thrust Vector Controlled Rocket Prototype V1
This is a TVC (thrust vector control) rocket mount prototype with PID control, designed and 3D printed by me. It features a flight computer using an arduino nano, an MPU6050 accelerometer and gyro, a BMP180 barometer, a micro SD card module, and a radio transmitter and receiver. The controller is powered by a 9V battery, while the servos by 4 AAA batteries. It’s still missing a parachute deploy...
how did you make those switches to power the electronics, tvc mount, and arming the motor
@@Yarnk7 they are electrically placed in between the batteries and what they power. Basically the power cables go to the board with the switches, and then some other cables bring the power to the component that needs it
nice
Cool! I’m a president of an Aerospace club down here in Florida and thinking of stimulating TVC thrust using a propellor (high school rules) and using an Ardrubio nano, an MPU 6050 and some other stuff, very cool!!
i almost jumped for joy when i saw the thrust vectoring mount cad file and ran to my printer to print it b4 realizing it was read only :((((((
Try to download it now, I should have changed some permissions, just don't sell the files lol. Also, the pins to make the parts able to rotate are not in the assembly
@@nicola_gaiani TYSM for replying amazing person. still cant tho ;( just says read only... might just take a while to update or might need a new url... idk
YES WORKS NOW!!! TYSM!!!!!
@@charlieshobbies4852 are you trying to export it from the left menu? Try to look on the bottom "view only" toolbar for an export/download button, I can see it when logged out of my account
@@charlieshobbies4852 Nice!
Super complimenti veramente.
@nicola_gaiani grazie mille🫶🏼

Well done man takes a lot of work to do what you have done.
Genius!
Can you share the simulation control system for reference please
Sei italiano?
I like it the edges of the top looks like a killer whale
Thought the same thing when i first designed it! I was tempted to call the rocket “Orca” but I ended up going with no name
Could you please share the arduino code🙏
Bro also show how to install a b in it
Bro can I talk to you
Heyy dude can u become my friend plz........ I'm also want to work in this type of project
What rocket motor were you using? Also amazing project
Thank you! A Tsp E-20
How did you learn these things? and what university course do you attend? anyway congratulations!!!
@@davidevolp3hero523 Thank you! I learned most of the things online, but I attend aerospace engineering.
@@nicola_gaianiWhat year are you attending university?
Well explain
Grandissimo @BPSspace ti fa na pippa😂😂😂
Great job. Organized, and it just works. !
Bro
Great man
What is that simulation software you're using?
Good job nicola ❤ keep inspiring us 😍 love from India
Bravoooo ! Can't wait for the next chapter. Grande Nicola! Unico consiglio: non fermarti, continua così !
Nano is not the microcontroller for this job Teensy shall be your option
people like you inspires a lot. All I am waiting for a 3d printer
congratulations from iran🎉
looking forward for the other projects 👍👍👍👌👌👌
Well done! Also, you did an excellent job of explaining your project, very thourough. I have the urge to make many suggestions for improvements but I really don't think you need them.
@@HarmanRobotics thank you! And please tell me the suggestions! I know the design is far from perfect and there are many issues, there’s probably something I missed
Great video, for some reason I thought this video is going to be simple and I actually said "it's not rocket science", wtf was I thinking
How old are you
Honestly, I have no idea how any of this works, but I really enjoyed your explanations. I also think you’ll go viral with this type of project and content.
Figataahhh!
May I suggest a better radio communication other than the modules you showed. :)
@@House0fwax sure tell me! I’m aware those module are a bit crappy
what i understood rocket build =hard
COOOL ROCKET SIR
Thanks 🎉
Really impressive and inspirational !!! Thanks for taking the time and effort of making and sharing this video! Keep up the good work Best regards
nice job.
Stopped watching after 15 seconds. Can't hear what you're saying because of the overwhelming, unnecessary and annoying music. Would love to have heard what you were about to say. 😕

Bel lavoro
Congratulations 🎉❤
Great job. Greetings from Brazil
Good gob
This is really impressive
This is so cool!
Complimenti!
