The rubber worm was 10cm long, so the pike in the video was about 60cm long. I knew it was a pike because of the speed with which it swam to the bait - typical behaviour of this fish.
When you record the sonar, do you just use a microSD and pop it into your computer? Does it view the files or do you have to download some kind of app?
Hi, the recording is saved to the card in mp4 format, so you don't need special software.
I have the sonar on the bellyboat, so thanks to the fins I can constantly turn the transducer, which is fixed to the bellyboat, slightly to the right and left to detect the bait I am spinning.
What do you usually keep you’re settings on?
The settings are simple and most of them are adjusted automatically. For example, I leave the depth for automatic adjustment. I reduce the range of the forward transducer to approx. 20m for trolling.
