DOES IT RIP??? 1978 Suzuki TS250 Riding Single Track with a 2011 Husaberg FX450, Boyds

Abusing the 1978 Suzuki TS250 in the trails of Boyd's Pit. South Vancouver Island, BC. This was the first ride on this machine... watch to see how she does. I apologize for the wet lens! And if you just wanna see a 3rd person view of a TS250 go to the end of the video
What do you think a 1968 in great condition would be worth?
That looked like fun. I sure hope your using the oil.injector on the 2 stroke Suzuki. The Suzuki came from the factory, with a clear colored drain from the oil injector. I'veseen 3 oil injectors fail in my day. I'm now a senior citizen. Twice from this clear line getting degree in it. One of the three times was from a spider that had claimed inside this tube & spun a web. Other time was dried up dirt, so it couldn't breathe, and the last time was from a guy that was trail riding "like you were" and had decided to take out the oil injection weeks earlier, for riding it to work. On a flat surface, mixing the gas & oil.will.do in a pinch, however trail or dirt bike riding of the machine will blow the motor. 2 stroke dirt race bikes, have to mix gas & oil. If you want the motor to stay healthy I suggest using the oil injection system. Oh, I'd also think about getting some bark busters, rather than broken hands, a rope incase one of you break down & a food up saw. It might come in handy
that looks fun
Susukiมันแดกน้ำมันจิรงๆๆเลยนะรุ่นนี้_/
แดกจริงครับแต่ขับมันส์
great!
Does it rip? Yup. But it sounds like a giant angry hornet buzzing down the road. Lol. But it's amazing to see one of those classic yammies actually working these days. Awesome 👍
What is that strange lever by the right foot peg? You where kicking it😂
Freaking great
Picked up an adventure modified ex500 recently. Front end was modified with parts from an nx250 dual sport to lengthen the forks, on top of that a progressive spring was swapped in. Unironically, the front end is pretty sweet off road. Rear is a little stiff, but it isnt horrible. Kind of at a loss on wheather to upgrade the rear shock and push it the rest of the way into adv territory, or if I should strip everything down and make it a naked sport bike. Would be more expensive and complicated to turn the bike into a naked sport bike from where its at right now than it would be to take it the rest of the way to an adv. All she really needs to cap off the transformation is a bash plate and a rear shock from like a klr or something. After that it would likely be pretty damn solid offroad, and honestly despite whats been done to it it still handles the street exceedingly well.
Did you do this stuff?
LOL I saw this bike for sale on marketplace last year and almost bought it.
where did you get those turn signals? They are nice
My winter hack , great machine never ever let me down
hah, it rips!
Keep it on the streets. Looks cool but
But it's so low. I need clearance
GPZ is the best 😁😁
Waste of a bike
Thanks for the comment and supporting our channel! We really enjoyed wasting this bike. Which bike should we waste next?
Miles better than a landfill and recycling, which is the reality of where they end up at. Look on the market, these bikes sell for below 1k, you can even get them for 500 bucks and they still have low mileage below 40k km (30k miles) Any use for them is better than the scrapyard. Get back to reality, these old bikes are not treasures, they don't sell and most will never be ridden again because nobody wants them for some reason. Any use is a good use for these bikes.
Cool!!!
😂😂 this is stupid. I love it. I had an 88 it looked pretty much just like this with out the skid plate and tires😅
i love it and want to do it, but it looks like it sits way too low and weighs too much to be really worth it. guess this mod is a reason to finally get a second bike haha
Thinking of doing it to my 94 thought of it first day I bought it
Where did you get your tires bro
All the over reving at first… Me “sir! You need to calm down!” All of the water you rode through… biting my nails hoping your ignition doesn’t short out on the old girl
Ima need more of this bike lowkey
my 1st bike was the 79 model TS 250 , thing just took all the abuse i gave it as a learner , learnt my dirt skills on it in the Watagans state forest in NSW. loved that thing
I had a 1979 yellow one from new and really wish I'd kept it (I took those useless indicators off mine)..but I have to agree with another comment here, you started it up all wrong! those 2 strokes needed a bit of time to settle down, especially with too much choke on
The TS needs equivalent tyres. Trials universals are useless garbage.
Thats awesome. Iv just started looking for a KLR kawasaki ? I even went on KLR Facebook group and asked if i could turn a ninja into a KLR and most of them laughed at me bunch of dumb fucks just makes want to build one show off my pictures tell them all to fuck off lol
Thank you for this. This was my first bike, I was 15 in 1997 and bought this with money from baling hay. I hid it in the woods, cuz my parents forbid me to have a motorcycle. I got caught riding it to work from word of mouth LOL. I took care of it, and eventually gave it back to the original owner who still has it but went on to have MANY motorcycles, went full circle from sport bikes to baggers but now am enduro only...like I started.
mine is an 89 too. excellent bikes....
so you are just going to tear it up...children?
What are you gonna do about it?
what motor being used? sounds like a 4 stroke.
you need your hearing checked
Looks like capitol forest. You in WA?
NVM just read the location 😆
my next project will be a ninja 500 powerd hillclimber. v excited
Sounds fun! These Ninjas would make a wild hillclimber
Nice one!!!
My dad has this Bike 😄 i Drove It the secknd time today im 13
Fuckin mint boys
BRRAAAP BRAAAAAAAP
You want to abuse a motorcycle buy a new one but don't do it to a classic like this because people are paying top dollor for a 1978 Suzuki TS250 in like new condation an people are keeping them in like new condation because people
Bikes are made to be ridden, quit your crying and twist your throttle instead. I bought this bike for $500 CND with a complete parts bike. Tired of people thinking motorcycles are shelf ornaments. Live in the moment… oh and I do abuse my 2018 KTM just as hard but that's for another video ;)
This bike was abused before we got our hands on it, had to do a lot of work to get it to where it is, and if you think that was abuse, you should see what we do with our modern bikes.
You own it & can do whatever you want with it so long as it’s legal
What the fuck you Will do with one of these then? Keep it in your room like a furniture?
It was designed to be ridden. I shred on my 185, jumps, insane hill climbs, and mountains. It's not meant to sit there and look pretty
I like the berg more
no you are wrong
Best $100 I’ve spent this year
But is it better than the $500 Ninja?
We’ll find out after we slap some dirts on it
Brap brap! CB200 video next??
Awesome ride, would be fun on my 1979 SP370. Greetz from germany
Sweet bike! Although I was cringing a bit as it seemed like the beginning was on cold start😆 gotta let her warm up a little bit
"The gate's open." LOL DT 250 here. Super nice scoot there. Near me in WA there is Walker but it can be pretty brutal in parts so I'm letting it dry out a bit before I go back with this vintage machine. I've ridden some of it before in a newer Honda XR -- overall like the look of your terrain more.
Love the dt250 you have. Got my wife a plated dt80 to ride trails but I ride it more than she does.
