It’s definitely nostalgic!

So we are not in a flood area we were more worried about a tree falling on our house and we just wanted to protect things and we had such a long lead up time and warning days in fact and everything else was all settled so we just thought we’d use the additional time wisely :)

Totally understandable we had such a long heads up before this hurricane after we secured everything else this was the last little bits of things that we thought we would secure, but in all seriousness, hurricanes are very scary

Things are definitely the last priority before a hurricane, but we had so much prep time ahead of this that we just figured we’d use it

lol! Love that! Whatever will be will be sometimes I think that may be better because all the stress and anxiety weren’t moving up to these hurricanes is a lot.

Hi, thanks so much for watching. Yes we are all good. We are not in a flood zone so we were not worried about water. However, we do have some very old large trees around our house and we were worried more about a tree falling on and letting rain in, but we are all good. No damage to the house and no flooding and the items were all secure.

All joking, aside, 100% agree which we absolutely did. We just had such a long lead up time to the storm to get ready that we just thought we’d go the next step. ❤

If you wanna save things from flood waters, it's actually a great idea because those are usually sealed very tightly so water can't get in. The oven is the one I don't see a point in. Water would def seep through that before it would the laundry machines.

@@luckylushie369 ha ha we thought about that but the power was still on and we did have some food in the refrigerator. We didn’t want to get condensation. :)

Well, that’s relative so protect what you want and this Person will protect what they want/feel is valuable. Disney merch is very expensive. I wouldn’t wanna lose it all either.

​@mercedesvelazquez6478 putting your expensive items in a stove during a flood isn't really a good idea then. Considering most homes water levels were quite high.

​@jaimelaroche2872 they weren't in a flood zone. They were in extremely high winds with trees blowing down onto houses. It's not always flooding.
