Antz and The Incredibles both succeed at doing what Shark Tale tried and failed to do ironically in the same year as The Incredibles, while being produced by the same studio that made Antz. They both did a much better job at telling a deep and mature story for adults in the confines of a PG animated film. Shark Tale was very bad at this because Oscar was too stupid for us to root for him or take his personal desires seriously, and because Shark Tale plagiarized The Godfather but had to keep it PG with animated sharks.
