Great clutch control
At 66 and a disable vet, I do ok with this heavy 250
Id like.to make plans to ride with you guys next year .
Should have listened to your blinker and stayed to the left!!! lol
That WR is the king!
which Walker Valley is this?
Walker Valley ORV Washington
@@mandownriding8024 Cool! Thanks!
The last bear I saw was while I was hiking around lake Youngs. He was standing on his back legs watching us. Probably about six and a half feet tall. It sucks not being at the top of the food chain.
00:28 That's a nice looking bear. He looked pretty young.
Cruiser trails 👍
lol I've eaten shit on that exact trail as well. out in the clear cut section on a rainy day. those roots are gnarly.
man I sure do miss Walker. Used to ride there every weekend back in like 2010-2012. I went back two years ago and was surprised how much it has changed. Lots of old trails closed but a few new ones as well. Then there are always those rare renegade trails you stumble on now and then haha. used to be able to ride a lot further into the mountains back in the day.
Looks like Walker Valley? I had my handle bars ripped right out of my hands by a stick poking up in the mud there ages ago. sent me right off the side of a hill on my quad haha barely got out of there.
Huh? Where is the tank slapping? I don’t think you’re going to get any tank slapping at those slow speeds.
Then you are not looking at the right bike.
@@mandownriding8024 It looks like he just used too much throttle at an angle and the bike slipped. Wouldn't call that a tank slapper [also known as death wobble]
Give her some throttle!!
But not to bad for a Disable Vet US Navy and 66 years young
Looks like an awesome trail!
Lets go man down!
They need to rename this trail…You’re going Way faster then I-5 to Seattle ever goes these days 🤣🤣
Holy Crap! That was a close call!
I need to get out there for sure
The trails you ride just look so amazing!
Nice riding man! Great to see the WR250R tackling the trails.
2:37 "Am I going the wrong way?" :) Cool trail and video! Exhaust sounds great!
Cali?
Washington
Beautiful place to ride.
I had to laugh, I was just there 2 or 3 days ago I'm a new rider on a brand new husqvarna 300 TE and and you did a little better than me Cause I actually fell 2 or 3 times bikes too high. But I kept killing it trying to get my clutch control I didn't actually stop to rest till I looked at my map and I was right at the end of all the switchbacks really sucked I was breathing hard sweating like crazy And Cussing like crazy. But oddly enough I can't wait to go back maybe tomorrow. Thanks for posting It's a lot harder than the video shows.
I am a 64 year old Disable Vet Doctors said I would never ride again. That was back in 1982 I still have fun...That bike is a WR250R about 290lbs
@@mandownriding8024 good job on staying with it, I'm 63 and just starting I've got 5 rides under my belt (in last two weeks) I'm on a mission to get good by next spring. Not sure if there's any way to connect but I'm pretty flexible if you wanna hook up for a ride.
I am on FB as Gordon Hutchings and I do try to get up to walker to ride about once a week. We start about 6:30am and never run into another rider up there.
@@mandownriding8024 If you and your riding partners wouldn't mind I would love to tag along I've got a riding community of younger guy's but mostly they'll do destinations I'm doing pretty good so far don't think I'd slow you down much and if that happened I'm good on my own. When you thinking of going next?
@@ronnylp1 I will try for Saturday My brother will be back from hunting on Thursday I will know more then.
Is this walker?
Yes
Where is this?
Walker Valley ORV Washington
Hi Which country is this?
This is Washington State
These trails look really similar to what we’ve got up in northern MN in the Nemadji forest, especially when they’re wet! Looks fun as hell man!
That looks like some fun, gorgeous track! What camera are you running? That’s like crystal clear!
Go Pro 8 running it at 4K I have the rest of the settings if you want them
good riding there bud
Thank You
I was pulling for you on that first hill! keep going brother!
Where is this again?
Walker Valley ORV Big Lake Washington
@@mandownriding8024 I'm in Ct. so I gues sthat trip is out.
Wow. Looks pretty challenging. I love your name too.
Thank you 🤗
That was excellent! I may watch again from the beginning 🤣. Is this in the PNW somewhere? If only I had trails like that where I live...
Northwest Washinhton
That's how to ride a WRR (WarRioR). Wind it up and let it rip.
Well done I like it ✊.
What gearing were you running? I'm in the midwest so I don't get into climbs like this. I ride a bit of slab to get to the trails so I settled on a 14/50 combo.
13/50
that was steep! :-) good job!
Yes it was! That was my nephew Pat Hutchings on my bike He is crazy
Love the drama at the end...the panicked cry and the exhalations of anguish as you rolled down. Meanwhile your buddy..."What did you do?" A crash of un-scripted genius and theatrical majesty. Bravo!
Man I'd kill for some trails like that around here. Good video
@1:00 I was thinking you were riding it so slow you are going to stall it... Then you did.
It happens. All the trails just opened up after logging. Was taking it easy. Don't need any broken spokes.
