I prefer Reach ngl. Rogue One doesn’t have enough Clone Troopers imo.
I don’t get the hate they get they’re useful and just trying to make a little money it not my fault you guys want a sealed $200 Lego set just buy a used one for cheap
If there is a demand for an item, then the person who owns that item has the right to sell it for whatever people will pay for it, that’s just how a free market works. That being said you should be able to see why some people are frustrated, they’re paying way more than lego (the company who made the product) charged to someone who had nothing to do with its creation. I’m happy for you that you’re able to benefit from the currents prices, but you should at least be able to see the other side’s frustration.
@@NightAero I see both sides I get why you guys are mad. I just see more people complaining about the person who isn’t at fault I believe that LEGO should give an extra year or like an extra couple months for people with VIP to buy Lego sets
I can agree with your reasoning. I started collecting the past few years, but only buy one if any set I like. Though most are still in boxes due to not having space to display them, my logic is that I can sell any that are valuable down the road, but if there isn’t a market, I’ll happily build what I have.
I feel bro. Honestly telling myself I can resell sets is one of the few things that has justified me buying them. I’ve folded every time tho and opened them all.
investors are the reason that the price will even be somewhat reasonable in the future.

I sincerely hope LEGO investing loses its profitability. There are a few sets I'd like to add to my collection, yet they're so outrageously expensive that I can't even consider it.

The comic book industry had this issue in the 90's. People saw something get collectable and then hopped on the trend. But guess what happens when everyone buys something because they think its going to be more rare. They don't get more rare, because theres hundreds of new in box sets sitting around not selling in someones garage. If anything these new sets will be far cheaper in 10 years time
People have to be more proactive if they want to make money, they can’t just hop on trends.
The more "investors" equals more stock, which equals less return on investment. Hopefully, they lower the prices on their "investments"
