A collection of footage I'm taking whilst flying paragliders and exploring the mountains.
Paragliding & Camping the Karakoram | Pakistan Himalayan Adventure
In this video, we take you deep into Pakistan’s Karakoram mountains on an unforgettable paragliding and camping (vol biv) adventure. We flew 320km over 3 days, soaring up to an altitude of 6,800m, and ended our day landing at the breathtaking Rush Lake (4,600m), one of the highest alpine lakes in the world.
The goal? To explore the Karakoram’s wild, remote beauty and push ourselves to the limits.
Our journey began with a stunning campsite in a flat alpine meadow, beside a flowing stream. By day two, we were camping at Rush Lake, overlooking the Hopper Glacier and the iconic Golden Pillars of Spantik. Flying wasn’t without challenges we faced strong thermals, katabatic winds blasting down the glaciers and the effects of high altitude.
Throughout the trip, we relied on a lightweight paragliding vol biv setup, packing everything needed to fly and camp in this remote terrain.
Join us for this epic adventure through Pakistan’s untouched Karakoram range. A true paradise for exploration, flying, and camping enthusiasts.

I envy your life.
Thank you! You should learn to fly!
Could you upload a longer version, like the full video of your paragliding? I’d love to watch the entire thing.
Or maybe you could create an archive channel if you don’t want it to affect your main channel. That way, we can enjoy the full videos without any worries!
Thank you! its a good idea, but also I am not filming the whole flight... maybe I'll look into it
awesome video ben! brings back some memories
Thanks mate! You going to head back this year?

Hey, what is this activity? I thought paragliding was just jumping from the top of a mountain to the bottom. I had no idea you could actually fly like that in the air! Life feels incomplete without knowing about this. Please tell me where and how I can learn it!
There’s schools that can teach you. You will learn about the weather, when it is and isn’t safe to fly, civil aviation law (no flying over airports for example) and how to control the glider. Try searching “paragliding school near me” they should have some information on how the process is in your area.
saar tis is india saar, we is sem 2 sem as people here saar, this is india plej label as indian saar
I wanna paraglide now! Also, where’s your fan I don’t see a fan
There is no engine. There’s schools that can teach you. I've never watched anything anywhere close to this, just amazing.. No youtuber ever dared to show us this view of Gilgit, Thank you.
Thank you!!!
I didn't even know you can fly like this, that's so awesome and I'm so glad you got to fly over such majestic peaks. Edit : Damn bro, I wish i could learn how to paraglide like this, you guys are truly living your life snd I'm envious (in a positive way), stay awesome 😎
Thanks mate! Yeah it's possible to fly hundreds of KMs in a day! There’s schools that can teach you. You will learn about the weather, when it is and isn’t safe to fly, civil aviation law (no flying over airports for example) and how to control the glider. Try searching “paragliding school near me” they should have some information on how the process is in your area.
Love your shorts. You pack a lot into them. Great edits.
Cheers mate!
You are in India now🎉🎉?
this guy will fly around the globe in 80days. On his glider x-D
@AntonMadness i think you are wrong my friend, 80 days is way too much time he can get to height of jet stream to complete world tour in 8 days 😅😅
is that a threat ?
It's an awesome place!
@@BenjaminKellett yupp i agree on that I live here In Himachal Pradesh
Brilliant 💪🏼👏🏻
Thank you!

You should! There are schools that can teach you!
wow
🙏🙌
Ben are you uploading a full video of you BC adventures? Or hopefully two.
Possibly I don’t have heaps of footage to be honest
@BenjaminKellett 😭 Well anything would be great. Like so many others I love watching your adventures. If in my home province that's even better.
You guys are living the dream! I so so much want to do this one day, but fear and finances keep me away from it.... How do you overcome the fear ?
We control the fear by spending many hours flying building confidence and our abilities
The last grizzly encounter on north shore west vancouver, reminds me cypress ski hill mount strachan, pronounced "Strong", is where they ok@y paragliders launching off the mid-mountain main promotory. That is why I mention there is at least one, zero hike effort ,drive to launch "near" vancity. The you know you like that city over the oldenday. Awsome to see where the real bold adventures in the incredible kootneys, @rt-of-arial cinematography award goes to,.....Benjamin Kellet(;^!)
Thank you very much!! 🙏
Is this the eastern part of the Provence?
Yeah it is
Be safe man hope you brought some firepower just in case 🐻
Beautiful view in pakistan ❤
Such an amazing country!
Pakistan is very beautiful ❤ 🇵🇰 ❤
This is British Columbia mate!
Indeed
This looks like a fun adventure
It’s great fun!
nice
Thank you!!
I am sure you missed Trout fish becuase you did not try to fish at the Rush Lake.
No we were too tired we just ate our noodles 😅
@@BenjaminKellett Well, that's a pity. There's a common rule of thumb in Gilgit Baltistan, whenever you're near a glacier water stream, or a lake. Don't forget to fish 😅
Awesome!
Thank you!
wow
That’s what I said! 😮
Thank you Benjamin and your teammate for covering this mesmerizing adventure, splendid natural beauty & wilderness... We welcome you to capture more and more of the adventurous journeys here.
Thank you very much!! It’s an amazing place!
Yup. Sign me up.
Do it! There are schools that can trash you!

Well, color me totally jealous
🙌🙌
WoW Amazing Guys Incredible
Thank you!!
One of the best video made in north wow😮
Thank you very much!! 🙏
I was dreaming of this shit since childhood
Do it!! There’s schools that can teach you!
Hey mate how to learn these flying and info about gear. If you plz make a guide on this
I’ll add it to the list 😅
Oh boy Ben. I'm looking forward to more from my home province. I was going to message you and suggest you fly from Golden and also the Creston area. The latter is at the south end of a mountain and south of town is a wide flat valley. Very picturesque. The US border isn't far south so that's a limitation I guess. Another stunningly beautiful area is the Slocan Valley on up to Nakusp and beyond. Actually I think Revelstoke is due north of that. Sicamous, houseboat country, is another fantastic area. So much of BC really is Super Natural in its beauty. (License plates used to proclaim that.)
I’d love to come back! Maybe in July next time
Amazing guys , thanks for being in Pakistan and appreciate Pakistan.
Thank you! It’s an amazing place!
