It’s funny, I used to get into a friendly debate years ago-like decades ago over a guy who had a Poison website, I think it was actually a CC site (RedHot) was his on line name. I always said this solo was probably C.C.’s best work, so beautiful and so much emotion. He agreed it was good but I believe (and my memory could fail me here on his choice), I believe in his own opinion the solo for “Life Goes on” was the best. We never saw eye to eye on this, and now I stumble on your video and memories of those debates come flooding back and makes me laugh. To be young again where which solo is the best was such an important topic lol

I don't understand the point of owning and using an excellent all tube amp if you are just going to patch it in and out of a digital modelors or effects processor then plugins. You are absolutely loosing almost every tonal benefit by the time its been converted from analog to digital and back to analong multiple times before your signal reaches its load (the speaker). If you want to use tube gear thats fantastic but i really think you should make an effort to keep your signal chain analog and if you want to use modelors thats fine too but in that case you might as well stay digital and play towards its advantages. But to each his own, its just kinda silly to me. I build tube and solid state guitar amps and pedals as well as mod and restore them and i occasionally restore vintage tube radio receivers when the opportunity and time becomes available (which it seems is happening less and less these days lol). And having worked with all these various circuits over the years ive come to realize pretty much every peice of gear has something great about it as long as you play to its strengths. When you try to force all your gear to sound like something it wasnt designed to sound like or ignore its strengths and just plug it into whatever you feel like you significantly undermine your tone snd playing experience. But again, thats just my opinion and maybe im wrong but all my lived experience tells me im not. / :
