Established in August 1998, the Institute of High Performance Computing (A*STAR IHPC) is a Research Institute under the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR). Our research foci are in computing science and AI; large scale complex systems modelling; social and cognitive computing; and computational engineering mechanics, fluidic dynamics, electronics and photonics, materials science and chemistry. These core capabilities enable us to tackle real-world challenges and create solutions for physical and human systems, such as manufacturing, energy, healthcare, transportation and urban systems and more.

Doctor Buddy
Doctor Buddy, a telehealth solution co-developed by SingHealth and the A*STAR Institute of High-Performance Computing (A*STAR IHPC), is a smart chatbot and clinician dashboard that supports SingHealth’s 'Mobile Inpatient Care@Home' initiative.
SingHealth’s MIC@Home is a “virtual ward” concept where clinically stable patients get transferred from the physical hospital ward to recover at home while being closely monitored by the healthcare team. Doctor Buddy facilitates remote patient monitoring with patients providing input of their health data, such as vital signs.

Great work! I did kind of wonder the type of tactile, gyro, and haptic sensors icub had. Not that I know what I'm talking about, nor am I complaining. But it seemed as if it needed more spacial feedback. As when icubs hand would block objects out of view, more haptic feed back was needed so icub could realize it is blocking the view with its own hand. I guess I'm just saying, a physical haptic self awareness body mapping so icub knows even if it's arm is out of view is still a physically attached part.
