Very nice Dave! I am glad that the gradual braking does not induce the need for ABS and therefore the ice mode. I never felt it when I drove, but this technique is an enduro learned style of driving I do when taking people for rides. Fast but holding off on the last 1 to 2 seconds by focusing on high speed corner entry instead of very late braking... Nice runs through the front straight through 12 too!

I'm surprised you ran in HPDE2 given your skill! Yeah, you'll definitely find idiots in HPDE2. I was there one time, and these two hot dogs in a late model Corvette and Camaro (older) were dicing it up... in HPDE1/2!

That was HPDE2 in NASA --- bad idea. I paid my dues and now run in group 4 and the talent level is much higher. I have not had anything close to that level of incompetence since.

You can see in the video though that your friend in his mighty 400hp+ M3 still didn't pass that 100hp Miata though lol

@Cautela You're exactly right, my point was that the only reason he had the opportunity to pass me was because I was giving the 400hp+ M3 in front of me the opportunity to pass a slower car rather than crowding him on the exit of the corner. It was a stab at the driver for trying to take advantage of a bottled up situation to pass an obviously faster car. Not an against the Integra in general, just him in his. Cya out there next time!

Nice control man, good save. I was there as well, and I'd advise to stay away next time you see him as he seems to think it's a race and drives overtly agressive... please don't think all of us integra guys are like this. That being said, you aren't exactly giving the benefit of the doubt yourself. Don't you think there are integras that can dust an M3? Don't jump to such conclussions so quickly...

@iamphilipsun I appreciate you owning up to it. However, I do want to say, I was looking for you after that session - I wanted to share with you a couple thoughts on the matter. That type of aggressiveness is unacceptable for an HPDE - these are our street cars that insurance likely won't cover if there is an incident. Please drive more carefully at these events - it isn't a race. And if it was, I would beat you anyway --- it's an M3 my friend. :-)
