what kind of sink was that?
very dangerous, need protection on your hands, wrists and forearm, a piece of granite would go all they way into a blood vessel. You are a brave man!!!! Bravo!!!
Dude get your hands away frkm the grinder wtf
Holding the vacuum hose with other hand - YIKES! too risky.
Is that an angle grinder? or a masonry saw?
Looks like a Makita 9557PB one-speed angle grinder simply turned off and on multiple times to make it variable speed with a 4.5" diamond blade (don't know the mfg. of the DIAMOND Blade however - it's very important to buy the best one you can)
@@dabneyoffermein595 Thank you for the information!
How did u remove the sink. My sink is under the granite
Is there a secret to radiused corners?
they sell cone shaped grinding thingy perfect for radius corners or circular
What a horrible looking sink
What blade did u use ?
Diamond blade for the stone. I ran into the support rod thats inbedded into the stone & switched to a metal blade. - Justin
i heard it is important to only pull the angle grinder and not push cause it will cause damage and risk cracking
So that front edge isnt vulnerable to breaking?
It can be. I haven't broken an edge from cutting. I have made a hairline Crack toward the back before when there was only half inch. - Justin
Thank you for sharing
How much clearance did you have in the front edge? What a successful cut! Awesome video!
Standard for top mounts are 3.5 but you have to make sure there is at least .25 between the backslash and the top mount sink edge for cleaning. Usually you will have 1.5 inch overhang then the thickness of the cabinet. I cut this one about 2.75 from the front . I cut on top of the steel rod that's inside the stone (for Support during installation) which you can see some sparks. - Justin
@@arizonagranite5551did you remove that metal rod because it was rusting?
