bro if you have read really good novel like lotm orv , mushoko tensai, and manga like to your eternity and maquia and some anime on depression slice of life then you know firren just combines all the element of that. Also firren itself is not very unique or anything there are lots of novel like Revernd insanity, TBATE, ORV , LOTM , which can easily beat firren in terms of quality,plot,story, but alas they would not be adapted by good studio. for me firren is really overrrated
Well, I have heard a lot of good things about TBATE and ORV and I hope they will get a good adaptation someday but I don't think Frieren's strength is the plot or the story. I love Frieren because of how it handles the simple stuff tho I can totally understand why others may find it overrated
no, it's not overrated at all, and some resemblance in element's doesn't always mean that the series is taking those element's from other series that you mentioned, unless youre saying that kanehito yamada is stealing his ideas from those other series 🤷♂️ but i believe that frieren is heavily inspired from lord of the ring's, which is impressive, because almost no anime series can really replicate those lotr element's in a beautifully animated way's
without disrespecting other series, i think frieren truly brought something really subtle and mundane, but in a really refreshing way and beautifully conveyed (you can see the reviews from journalist or reviewers on youtube), that is also accepted by a lot of audiences globally,, that is why frieren as a manga has already achieved award's domestically in japan, and the manga is quiet a hit globally with over 20 millions copy of sale / purchased. so, by all means, it's not overrated at all, it's a deserved succes

Still people considered it a masterpiece cause at that time it was the best anime, now people realised that it's a copied shit. Few months back anime man made a video stating jjk is overrated, every comment on that video at that time was against him and latest comments on that video is with him now. People always go with the flow . If thousands of people commented in a video saying fierren is copied shit then you guys will start to think fierren is copied anime and not that good.
You're probably a younger anime viewer, but the older you get the more you'll understand that the messages and details in Frieren are absolutely uniquely brilliant. And Frieren Anime Season 1 has only covered 60 chapters from the manga, which was basically the "intro". Frieren is not overrated and without a doubt probably the best anime when it comes to an overall quality package.

I swear manga readers were not this annoying a few years back As a manga reader I've never spoiled anything unless it was by mistake or just giving a few hints cuz my friends allowed me to Or i was just talking about it at a time were my friends weren't interested in the anime But i rarely spoil And it's crazy that not only anime only ppl are getting spoiled But also manga readers because of leakers The anime fans from nowadays are pretty much just toxic little kids that fight about which anime has stronger characters or which anime is better and say some crazy stuff that isn't even true I've heard naruto fans say naruto is like galaxy lvl or smt which is mind blowing to me cuz it rlly seems like some of these ppl didn't even watch the show Everything is not a secret anymore If anything slightly interesting or important happens in a manga that is well known Manga readers will post about it in every platform so everyone will get spoiled And it's even worse with these ppl with leaks It honestly kinda pisses me off Mostly cuz my friends who only wath the jjk anime literally knew about gojo's death even before i did and then chapter wasn't even out yet
