I can't believe the track allowed this to continue, on both of your parts. That kind of behavior is grounds for getting kicked out in a non-racing event at tracks in the states.

Pretty good driving if you practice even more (and with clean road ahead) you can make a lot better time.

MrChris, whats the deal on the 40 vs 60 lowering on these cars. The zetec cup runs -60 g-max across the board with oem shocks. Isn't this out of range for the shocks or does it work well?

1.25 are fast ! I beat easly 1.4 civic and 1.5 civic coupe. Now i want to buy 1.4 16v mk4.

Nice agressive lap. I was even fast with 192 hp Z4 but with 48 hp less, but I drove cleaner lines. So improve your lines and shifting and you can achive 8:30.

All AP1 in uk, just so your aware, post facelift still had no TC until 06 then still 2.0 9k rpm but with TC =)

brakes in my opinion are what let the s2000 down, not the fronts, i always found the rears over heating, tried different makes of pads but the only thing that helped was a cold air feed from under the car to the back of the disc!

totally understand what your saying, but it was a charity day and it was all for a bit of fun, and if i caught him any quicker i would of been stuck behind him for longer!

I don't have an s2k and I don't know how it handles or if your tc was off or what, but maybe if you drove a little more seriously you would've caught him. You scrub off speed sliding that much when you could be sticking to the grip line.

Have done a very similar time to yours... also complain of traffic! My 8th lap ever around and 100% stock car. Actually the brakes are upgraded.

That corner right before the pit entry looked like the best place for you to hang back and gain some momentum to make a run on him. Too bad no corner workers gave him a blue flag...
