Thank you so much! It is amazing that something that looks so easy can be such a challenge - in so many ways lol! But I am having a lot of fun learning and as you can tell, I really amuse myself lol! Good luck traveling this learning road too!!

@cynthiacoronado185 the retreat lasts 3 days. You do not have to stay at the casino, many people go home at night and return each morning. There are classes offered that do cost a little extra, but you make projects together. Each day, the conference rooms/sewing rooms open at 8 am, there is coffee and pastries. Lunch at noon each day. Dinner is up to you. Sewing is 8 am to 8 pm. You get a very long table for your sewing space. There are lots of random drawings and prizes throughout to retreat. It is a fun time.

@vandarussell3658 try the Ditty Bag. Or tge Clam Shell....addictive. The one thing you need to learn is how she does her seams. We suggest that you get a video for any pattern you buy. It helps alot.

There are a few free ones on her website. "Easy Does It" is a good starter. It'll give you experience on the thick seams everyone hates lol! And it's also useful. There is a package deal that costs but the single one is free.

Yes, everyone brings their own machine. I'm not sure if there are any machines for rent or not. The next one is March 4, 5 & 6, 2025. They're working on getting a FB page up but it hasn't happened yet. I don't think there's a website but could be wrong. Are you on the local area? It's at Santa Fe Station.

Seester....you are more talented than you know. I loved our 10 days of compulsive, obsessive sewing.

It was their error. They just forgot to box it up with everything else. They did right by delivering them to me the next day. I was not a happy camper as you saw via the video, but forgive and move on. Life's too short to focus on the negatives.

Well, it was a calamity of issues there. I bought the floor model and they forgot to put them in the box.

New employee, short staffed, etc. They hand delivered them to me the next day and I do not live close.

As soon as I get the power cord and foot pedal, I will do a second video on how it sews.

It's only money lol! Therapy is so much more expensive! (Carol)
