I was not a Streisand fan for the longest time--never a 'joiner', I thought it such a cliche to be one. The year the 'Guilty' album hit, my next door neighbor played it (loudly) every day, again and again & over and over. By the end of a month or so, I was head over heels in love with the voice of Barbra Streisand (iknow!) A singer myself, years later I learned that we both sing in the same key of B-flat so her songs are very comfortable to sing. And ohhh-whAt a treasure trove of them there are! She is a true icon--deservedly the greatest female singer of her generation, hands down.

I love this song. The live version is killer.. she is looking straight at Lindsey and they lock eyes!.. Watch it, she give a great performance.

This song means a lot to me ,I lost my son nov.29 th 2022 and it's the 1 st song I heard after viewing his body ,seeing him for the very last time. I always play it when I need to self soothe now. I im a sitter and today my Beautiful boy would have been 33 well I come in and my lil man's on a tear .I mean a rant from hell .this man was a principal and a pilot and never backs down . Wat song comes on but this one which rarely does . I could literally feel my son who towered over me hug me and say I luv my lil mama wat he usta say to me as a kid .I'm only 5 foot 2 he grew to be 6 foot 5 . ❤ I could feel him thru this song as if he were saying mama I asked God to help ya .it LL be okay .and I still love you my purty lil mama . And suddenly my lil man calmed down.❤ God is good .
