One of the questions I get asked a lot about TMM is “where do they learn *fill in the blank*?”. Whether it’s counting coins, learning the days of the week or months of the year, or practicing multi digit addition or introducing division, the answer is always the same: “They learn it from YOU!”
We are headed out to mail our Christmas cards and I saw a way to sneak some math in. Remember that SO much learning happens simply in conversation about real world things. And the lessons tend to stick better that way too.
