@thomasgoesnostalgic I'll say this much: the Underground Arsenal one is much bigger, making it harder to store but also ensuring that it can put everything away cleanly. No panel-swapping for when the side door is closed but you still want the gun attached in some way, for example. The larger size also makes it equally compatible with Super7 Ultimates! TMNT in addition to the NECA ones. And while the colors don't pop as much as the NECA (though I'd argue that's more cartoon-accurate) and the taillights don't light up, it still has pretty bright headlights and even has the roof cannons able to retract and extend. And I gotta say, UA did NOT skimp out on the number of screws holding it together, nor did they make anything thin or flimsy.

@@gmsloep dude that is my biggest gripe with NECA’s van the friggen door! Like how do you put something load baring with only one hinge. I never display with the door open. And that is true the Arsenal compliments different size turtles. My favorite part of the arsenal are the telescoping cannons. I only got the NECA and enjoy it but man, UA has it beat

I’m a little rusty of my religious knowledge but I believe historically most crucifixions were tied up and only the worst, most cruel were nailed? I think…don’t quote me on that. I think the chains look way cooler than having to destroy the figure 😂

This is what happens when Hasbro dumps on their employees. Those employees go on to do bigger and better things. So far my favorite products of the year are these Swarm Troopers and Legend of the White Dragon 2 pack from Valaverse

I know right!? I think the first playsets I repainted was an old McDonald’s playset from the 70s. They have so much unpainted detail! I am on the look out for a smaller dollhouse that could potentially be a haunted house for my Elvira figure (but she scales a little taller). Stay tuned though! I have some scratch builds coming up and one more vintage toy repaint hopefully by the end of the year!

Dude I used to love those. I remember thinking it would actually be worth something. I loved the Warner Bros store in general. I still have four statues from there that I just put back on display. I just remember loving blue Superman because I felt he was the Superman of my era but I guess it didn’t last long 😂 still a fun part of Superman lore

Absolutely! I remember seeing someone build a dio out of wood which seemed really out of reach for me. But when I started watching Drip he would break down everything so it was easy for viewers to understand and I always appreciated that. I started my channel from the perspective of a complete newbie so from start to finish hopefully the progression is there but a lot of the fundamentals I learned come from him. @@thomasgoesnostalgic Maybeso- the Marvel Universe line varies in size between 3.6" (Wolverine) to 4.5" (Colossus), so I think that's a good place- and doors and windows in old mansions tend to be oversized. Either way, you did a hell of a job and I'm duly impressed. Y'know, I was think you could make the inside (or at least some of it) all high tech and modern to reflect how they have alien technology and the Danger Room and such. Just an idea- and you could probably use high tech looking backdrops cut to size for some rooms to save money and hassle.

@@jasoncaldwell5627 that’s a great idea! Have you seen the X-men 97 Airbnb? I forgot to mention but I took some of the color inspiration from that. The inside is really cool if I ever wanted to go in and mimic that design. There is a walk thru of it TH-cam if you want to check it out!

@@thomasgoesnostalgic I haven't seen it yet- I'll go check it out, thanks! I was think that, if you ever score another if these dollhouses, you can cut a large circle in the top center part and add the Doctor Strange skylight symbol. Just paint the rest like his NYC brownstone sanctum.

Yes! That helps a lot! I actually used that trick on my Wolverine Crucifixion dio but didn’t think to do it with this. I don’t think it’s too late to go back and reapply so I will definitely do that! Thank you!

Thomas you’re a diorama genius ! Thank you for this inspiration. The only thing im gonna do differently is I’m gonna flesh out the interior a bit, add drapes, and some furniture for Xavier’s “study” and storms room and rogues room. You’re dioramas are the best on TH-cam , you make it look effortless

@@kevinwish1343 thanks dude! I may print little photos to go into the pictures frames and then print out a design to put into the grandfather clock (wish I didn’t throw that away). I’m happy with all the gold embellishments but ya you could really go nuts on the inside. Appreciate you checking it out! I have been focusing on so many tmnt dioramas I told myself this would be the summer of mutants. I’ve made a bunch of X-men dios in the past but still had a few ideas in the tank! More to come!

@@marcgodley3064 maybe!!! I did a Sentinel diorama to fit inside Detolf. Made it look like he was busting through a warehouse. My two next projects will be Deadpool and a Jim Lee inspired diorama. Some other ideas I have wanted to do was creating a dio for Arcade and the MurderWorld. Maybe I can make it multifunctional as Danger Room too!
