Oh no oh no oh no no no...that's is all that popped into my mind when I saw this .. mostly because mechanics daughter here... I know how freaking dirty car/engine parts can be..😮
I’d lose my shit for sure. My dishwasher was a $600 Bosch. My husband would never hear the end of it ESP bc he refuses to even put his own dishes in there, so yeah no car parts!
I don't know if that would be a good idea to try even if you had a dishwasher to use. Those pods eat up aluminum and some engine parts would be damaged. I wanna say those pods are a fair percent sodium hydroxide (eats Al).
Nevermind, I didn't notice it was a plastic part. Screws might get eaten, but plastic intake body should be kosher.
Lots of pots and pans come with hardware, those absolutely do not eat up any kind of metal 😂

I think (okay, I know) that carb cleaner would be more effective at cleaning the intake than a dishwasher pod.
Well, the only thing I got out of this is you’re afraid of your wife because I’d tell her there’s an intake don’t worry about it. Be right I mean the intake not the dishwasher.
