    Sweet GTP😍 I love my L67 supercharged 04 Dale Jr Monte SS. I've had many GTPs also. As a mechanic of 31 years so far i will tell you the 3800 is the greatest thing since sliced bread and dead reliable no engine made better. Pre bankrupsy GM was really the mark of excelence and i still recomend any GM especially W-bodies with the 3800 to everyone. For trucks I recomend any 5.3 LS blocked GMT800 before DOD and of course the GMT400s with the 5.7 also. Hell you can't go wrong with an old GM. Just make sure you use red dexcool or orange compatable and flush regulary the cooling system and you will never have lwr intake gasket issues

    After port matching the manifold for the throttle body would this work for a stock setup without a tune? I ask because my throttle body is shot and getting a junkyard one where I am is the same price as a new 70mm.

    A 2x4 would work good, they’re 1.5 thickness. So put a 2x4 on each side of the pipe and trace them

    I can imagine the tremendous heat in the trunk. That intercooler better be soaked in ice to keep chill. My OEM turbo only keeps the trunk toasty enough with the turbo sitting on the opposite side of this set up. Where will I put my golf bag ?

    I'm doing mine 2 to fight against the chance of knock on a boosted engine. I'm gonna be at 9.5-9.7 to 1 CR so I figure it will help, plus I'm running dual intake cams set to 180° and retarding two teeth on the can gear. If I run premium gas also, I should be fine with 14-15 PSI

    FYI, it’s not pie, it’s called a “pi” cut because it’s dealing with radii (pi means 3.14159…..). Thanks for the tutorial man, can’t wait to make a hood exit on a turbo b18 Del Sol!

      Are you being serious? These are absolutely called pie cuts, and have nothing to do with Pi, which is the ratio of a circles circumference to it's diameter. These are called pie cuts, because they resemble pieces cut from a pie, and you can stack as many pieces as you need to make whatever bend angle you might need.

    Not bad but like the other guy said use a 18 or 24 tooth bimetal blade and Never force the cut. Also clamp it tighter so it won't spin while cutting which will give a more accurate cut. Also make yourself a gauge so once you get the correct distance out set the gauge and you can quickly set the next piece to cut. I never trusted the angle gauge so use a radius gauge and make a piece of paper etc. as a quick set up for that degree of cut.

  • @wolfsblade127
    @wolfsblade127 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Ur using the wrong kind of blade bud. That is a jagged blade for aluminim/brass ect, use a "supercut band saw blade 54 1/2-inch x 1/2-inch x .25-inch, 20-24 tpi bimetal blade " From amazon, its a straight tooth blade and it cuts stainless like butter and you dont need to pull the blade down to cut it. Also if u mark 1.5inch up on the part the that pivots and clamps the pipe down u can use it to index your marker line. I cut a small slit in the side of it with a wiz wheel and filled it in with marker so its always level and u line it up with the marker line on the pipe.
