Full disclosure, this was really just an exploration and not meant to be used as the base of an app. I would advise to use vite instead for compiling react.
The video propose to deploy the worker in 3 minutes, and it has 3 minutes. But the development starts at about 2 minutes. This is amazing! thank you for the content.

Super cheap. They have are running a beta program but when they start charging it’s likely some of the cheapest inference APi around.
But how does it perform on coding tasks that are not this basic?
So far I’ve seen the same amount of halicinations and drawback of attention mechanisms. It’s good but not the panacea

Can this help write Photoshop cep and uxp plugins
It cannot do 100% of the code yet, you still need to know the basics of what you are working on. But yes it could if it’s code
It is not the way the whole project file is generated, and the efficiency is a little low.
For sure, that’s mostly my workflow on larger projects with existing codebase
Also useable in other languages than english?
So for no since the logic is built in pure JavaScript. You could probably take the idea and make it work with an LLM for that purpose. I could make a video out of this if this video does well (which it is not currently sadly)
very useful. thank you
Thanks for watching 🙏

I now realize there is value in delivering unscripted, unfiltered experiences I acquire in my corporate and startup career. I use to spend hours on production for older videos to have 300-400 views while some of these light ones where I just open a laptop and share value do better.

how hard is it to port nodejs application into workers?
In general workers have a more limited runtime with limited support for node.js NPM packages. So anything that depends on node.js standard library will have some trouble. You will have to stick to packages that were built for workers or use standard vanilla JS code. Here's a bit what the process would look like: 1. eliminate any library that uses Node.js standard library 2. migrate to a framework and runtime that supports workers. Something like hono.js. Express could work with some adaptation 3. Test your application into workers 4. Do a blue/green deployment for the first few days before deprecating your node.js deployment On a small app it's a few days. For a corporate production app it's months
Why are you using the Hyper terminal? It is the worst terminal
Stockholm syndrome as I was used to it😵💫. I actually changed recently to something more modern.
amazing!
Glad you enjoyed!
This is great, but what if the data we are storing is user specific like for eg their pdf/doc data which is unique for each user, then does this work ?
There is support for namespaces which would allow you to separate your data per user using their id as a namespace key. I’ve not played a lot yet with this but I’m planning a video on it.
@@guibibeau Oh that'll be really great
lol this just sounds like copying LLMs DB into cache, won't it be more easy to run your own LLM?
You can run this with your own LLM to! The idea is that inferences is either expensive monetarily if you use a third party or on computations if you run it on your own hardware. Either way this will save on computations or money.
@@guibibeau well yeah makes sense, cache is the king, does that apply to everything as long as data is not changing too frequently where we actually care about it
I like how not just the code but its real life use in reduced load time and saving up on the costs of calls being made was brought to the fore. Bit of a tongue twister there with upstash and semantic cache in 3:53 as well, lol. Great video!
Thanks for watching. That was one of my most advanced video yet so I’m unsure if it will find its audience
@@guibibeau I am sure it will. Most importantly, it has been created and the knowledge shared already. It will always be a resource that can help builders globally, even if it is in the coming years.
Thanks for sharing this with us
My pleasure
this is useful, thank you

oh shit, might use this for a product question chatbot. hmm, this might also be what a img gen i was using a bit ago was using? noticed that if I sent the same prompt, it gave back the same image and if just slightly different, it was just a slightly different image and everything else pretty much exactly the same, with much less variation than other img gens
It could likely be also that the model has it's temperature set to really low. This would reduce variance in the output. Or the model could be overfit to some specific parameters.
Does this means i can host a full stack website directly thro cloudflare?
You could yes! It would require a bit of adapting your code but it's 100% possible.
@@guibibeau I will look into it, I still have to develop an e commerce store, I have to find a good payment process provider hopefully one that charges less % then stripe

What servewould recommended for a small gouv business?
I can't answer this in 1 comment but I can give you cues to guide your search: - The technology stack you will use. Are you limited by the constraints of the the gov organisation? - Will you need a long running server as opposed to serverless? - Do you have a devops team already that has some preference? Based on this I would say my recommendation would be to use Vercel if your constraint allow you. If they don't I would do either aws or cloudflare.
I recently (today) fount your channel, i love it; thanks for this video.
