Does FLO offer CHAdeMO adapters? I got a 2012 Mitsubishi I-MIEV

The stations in my neighborhood in Los Angeles almost always have connection issues. Today, August 16 2024, there are three out of the four stations that are not connecting to wifi! This has been going on for 3 years (that I know of). When I reported it to FLO, they kept saying they are writing a ticket. When asked who/how/when these would be fixed - the representative couldn't answer. I asked him if these get reported to the city of Los Angeles and he kept saying that the "technical team" will handle. I have contacted the city and the city councilwoman's office. I'm escalating this issue because 3 YEARS is way too long to be dealing with this inefficient system.

I've been looking to install a 6X L2 charger, where can one of these be acquired?

Nice addition to the equipment lines being deployed. I have never had a negative experience with any FLO charging station while I have had issues with some other high profile companies with equipment in Ontario

Elle semble puissante, j'aimerais bien l'essayer avec ma Tesla voir si ma Tesla pourrait aller à une vitesse de chargement de 250kw. Avec une borne qui n'est pas une Tesla. Malgré, que je n'ai jamais essayé encore une borne Tesla. C'est une nouvelle achat pour moi et j'explore comment fonctionne les bornes encore. Je me demandais si vous vendez également des borne qui peuvent charger le véhicule rapidement? Merci!

Has anyone been able to link their Flo account with MyChevrolet app ? According to the Flo email I received it says “To enable the GM Plug and Charge feature, a GM EV driver should follow the prompts on their GM MyBrand app.” However I never got a prompt in the GM app and I do not see anywhere in the settings to set this up?

Is there a restriction on model years or all GM EV’s ?

This is a real pain point (literally) for many EV drivers. Good you guys are addressing this unmet user need!

A lot of good discussion here but one subject that was not discussed, or I missed it, was paying for charging. Too many chargers want to have all charging pre paid in lump sums and they hold on to any money not used. Let me use my CC at the station, and bill me only for what kWh I use plus and any parking time when I'm not charging, (or charging a very slow rate that is my fault and not the chargers problem). If you must, put a hold on my CC when I start charging and then release that hold as soon as charging is done. This is how Gas stations operate. Stop billing by the hour or minute, except for those who hog chargers when not charging.

Very good information. I have had great experiences with FLO equipment and locations, never had an inoperable unit in our travels in Ontario and Quebec. I have a FLO G5 level 2 unit at my house since March 2021. My aggravations have come from inoperable units of other vendors and the slow uptake/installation of level 2 units at hotels and resorts. I will continue to inform the equipment providers of my likes and dislikes from my experiences.

How long was the charging session?

Were more added? This past winter there was five charge stations but only four that each had 2 ports. I tried to not be power hog by thinking I could come down to the lot and get a snack, walk the dog and move car to charge for the later afternoon. But a lot of drivers just get on the charger early and leave the car there all day..... My Electric car just barely makes the round trip to crystal and back with no charge so I really only need to top off for an hour maybe two. Put a timed fee on there, 1 hour $1, 2nd hour $2, 3rd hour $5, 4th hour $5. Share the power.

FLO should consider partnering with Suncor when this product is available. FLO would get the visibility of providing high speed charging on a nationwide network, and PetroCan could replace their existing installations with something more dependable and revitalize their reputation with Canadian EV drivers.

The card seems way more convenient than the app but $15 for a card is a joke.

Battery swapping.... Which reduces or eliminates demand charges.... And it allows battery swapping stations to earn money via energy arbitrage.... It will never replace charging, but it will be the closest that an EV owner, will get to having a gas station experience.... It's just a shame that only Chinese companies seems, to be interested in it...

If I want to install 2 Core+Max Dual Pedestal stations (4 chargers total) what size electrical service would I need? If each charger is 80amps? Wouldn’t I need a 400amp service for 4 chargers or would it be less with the powersharing technology?
