I haven't forgotten there was a lot of politically motivated trashing on Japanese electronics in the 70s and on their cars in the 80s.

I can get a pair used in almost new condition for 125$. Probably have to order it without ability to try it out. I can also get one Debut b6 used for 210$ or a B5.2 new for 275$. Out of these the Debut 4 seems like the best deal. What do you think? (I will hook it up to a cheaper amp like Fosi Audio or Ayma or a vintage class AB amp.

Hi. What about connection of subwoofer to tube amp? Have you tried? I have klipsch r-41m but their bass is not enough for me. I can't find cheap tube amp with sub out also hard to find sub without built in amp.

Still waiting on my fuses from PS Audio, but in the meantime, ordered an SA-20 from SurgeX for a similar price paid for my UO way back when.

Same thing JUST happened to me…I just called PS Audio and they’re shipping me out new fuses. In the meantime, I started reading through the manual and they mentioned a spare fuse…I sought out the original packaging and lo and behold, a spare fuse! Will install it soon…hoping for the best 🤞 🤘 🎶 EDIT: Replaced the fuse with the spare and still a red light so sounds like we have a similar issue. Gonna wait on the fuses they’re sending me and if they don’t work, figure out Plan B 🤷‍♂️

@jazztom86, On this particular tune, some of the changes are hard to solo on, and without Aaron's tactful chordal support, it would be too empty since Mike is not doing a chord-melody solo here. As a guitarist, I'd love to have Aaron's level of percussive and melodic bass-like chord support on this tune. This session was also recorded (obviously not a live feed) with a very prominent piano sound. A better mix in recording would have done justice to both Mike and Aaron.

I love my 1501 but it could benefit from more bass in my setup, which has some 90db JBLs. Also, one of the tubes is dimmer than the over but it doesn't impact sound from that channel.

hi, you just need to open and replace a old capacitor that probably blow. check inside for any dark marks on the simple circuit board. Easy to replace and fix.

Don’t think of this as a one shot long take. Divide your review into chunks and edit clips together in post production. It adds visual appeal as well by blending together the best takes. It would also let you see immediately lighting issues. Good content. Buy a good mic and add a sound test. My two cents.

Thank you for mentioning the RP400M. Not sure why there are hardly any reviews on them. I pair them with a vintage setup/receiver (Tandberg TR 1000) and I have to say they are impressive.

Mentioning the Chinese tube amp, I have the Qinpu A6000 MK II integrated amp that has 2 output tubes. I bought on Amazon several years ago and it sounds great! I only use it as an amp since I have a pre-amp. I also have a class A First Watt. I use the Qinpu in the warmer months since the class A puts out a lot of heat that warms up the room too much. The Qinpu easily drives the older Klipsch RB-41 speakers with 16.5 watts per channel. I just got the RP-600s, but have not tried them with the Qinpu yet, but I am sure it won't be problem with those.

Andrew Jones gets his kicks from making people say "wow!" because they are surprised at how good a speaker sounds for a given price point, and he definitely succeeded with the B4. My first foray into budget audiophilia was with the Pioneer BS22 and, while I had no major complaints with that speaker, they did not 'wow' me like the B4 did. I'd like to get my ears on a pair of the UB5's one day.
