“Burnley don’t score hundreds of goals…” 😬😬 We’ve been threatening that for weeks, sorry. Really good vid. We were just too good last night. I hope Argyle stay up. A proper club. 👍🏼
That true but at the start of the season Burnley score lots but u got a great team . We hope so true but it hard
HI Rich, Well not good enough to win or lose defeat to Burnley 5 goals to nil.
Hi Calvin we was not good enough and i feel for the boss
The faults are in the boardroom and they filter all the way down to the pitch and there are a great many of them. We're in for a few very rough years!
Wow i like your honest here and I hope we don t but it got that feels at the moment
Hi Rich Unfortunately or should I say “fortunately “ we couldn’t travel down last night because of an illness! However, followed it on Pasoti and BBC. What an absolute shambles it seemed? With the Whittaker ‘non turn up’ initially, and the lack of the rest of the team not turning up also, it was a disgrace really. Not much else to say, no way are we staying up in the Championship now!
Hi John and ollie I hope u both get well soon mate True it look doom last night we missing something. And Morgan i so disappointed it going to end up like this Hopefully see u west brom
Always enjoy your vlogs, guys. Your views pretty much in tune with mine. I was holding out hope against the odds until last night but that one has sunk me. I'd love to be proved wrong and nothing is impossible at this stage but it looks extremely unlikely we'll stay up. Who's at fault? Right now I'd say player attitude/mentality. The fighting spirit isn't there with the exception of one or two and the rest are just turning up to ensure their next pay check. Muslic can see the problem but isn't going to be able to turn it around in time, if at all. Sorry for the negativity but that's how it is I'm afraid.
Thanks u mate it was a tough one last night I glad we agree on the same things . Ya u think what we thought the players been acting like man u players revolutionary. Your honest is great being truthful is great
Great vlog im in it 😂😂😂
Thanks mate and u are . Best team won on the day
Hi mate it was good bumping into down at Sainsbury's today. Swifty and Nicky.
Hi mate nice meeting u both too today
Morning Rich What a thoroughly poor game! We’re thinking that “the end is nigh”!!! Cannot see how we will ever stay up in this league. One shot on target in a home game is criminal, fortunately Grimshaw made two or three outstanding saves, to keep it at just the one. Its horrible really, as in form QPR, weren’t that good. We badly need new players, this squad is simply not good enough. Where’s the money going to come from? This so called “investment “, should it eventually come, will probably be too late. The transfer window closes in two weeks!!! I’ve been here before, since my first game August 1957, have seen all the ups and downs, things never change! For all this, as long as I can physically do the 140 mile round trip, Ollie and I will be here still, whatever league we end up!!
QPR weren’t that good. We could have scored 5 but 1 was enough as your team couldn’t score in a brothel 😂
Morning john Ya it poor at home with 1 shot on target and u i though we only had half chances at most Yes we need the invented but rumours i hear then might of pull out not sure how truth behind it Ya same here will always be here for argyle. Are u going Wednesday mate
@@sentinel80I say in the vlog QPR was the best team overall u was well organised plus u stop us playing
Hi Rich Yes, we’re coming down on Wednesday!!!
@JohnSquire-f5q that good hopefully see u
I still think we can escape but we now MUST win next week at home. Given our injuries, we shouldn't expect miracles, we really miss Edwards I think, Sucz too. We need someone who can score goals. I think when Wright is on the pitch, and Bundu, we look threatening at least, but Hardie, Baidoo, Whittaker, they rarely look like trouble to defenders, they just drift around. It was the first match all season today where I was bored, nothing much to get us excited. Let's hope things improve, and I think Schuey picked better teams than his predecessors.
True Burnley will be tough and Sunderland massive games ya we miss the passion of joe on the pitch . Ya i think Michael will take time to apabt to English game and Morgan not getting much involved. Agree about wight and bunda . Even cissoko he not making much inpart
Especially bad day because Pompey, Hull and Cardiff all won. Nothing is impossible but not looking good tonight.
True it bad with other score against us today it not looking good
What everyone though on today lose ? Can we get our shelves out of this situation ? Comments below
Muesli sounds like an HR rep, fluffy bunny talk. But talk is cheap. I feel sorry for Wright, played well against Brentford, doesn't even get any play next game. Pushacz looks tasty (apart from a couple of poorly hit corners), Baidoo, nothing special on first sight. We are running out of time.
@GaryM67-71 ya i see you're view and I be honest i was shock by Wright not playing last night i though he come on amd I feel Michael baidoo will take time like remi . We need a number 9 in the squad big time
@richardfrancis7447 You're on the matchday video Rich, meeting the new coach. Check it out.
@GaryM67-71 thanks he was a nice guy I seen the video earlier it was fantastic
Hi Rich Good to talk to you last night! A rather underwhelming game we felt! Think we were expecting too much after the hard Brentford match. There were glimpses of some positives, but after only one proper training session, it’s early days really. Puchacz was very good before tiring, Baidoo also promising, but obviously playing out of position. Al Hajj scored an excellent header. But how we need better players, particularly a striker who can hold up the ball. Like Mickey Evan’s!!!! Anyway, let’s hope Saturday against QPR will bring us 3 points! John and Ollie
Hi John nice seeing u too last night Ya we all thought it was going to be good but we seen few moment that give us hope . I agree with u we missing a mickey evens type player . True Saturday is big we need the week mate See u Saturday
True great header by remi
Muslic way out of his depth at argyle I’m afraid.
Why u think that for i feel he need players who work with him ?
@ Belgium league is same as league 1 . Wrong man for the job . We needed someone that knows the championship . He couldn’t he make the right subs last night
@vwcoco I see but I feel he will come good in time with the way of the championship . The issue with championship experience is cost a lots if money
@ yep we need atleast 4 players needed and try and keep Whittaker to give us some chance of staying up. I feel for houghton
Sam u done great bud great angle of both goal bud
I enjoyed the video. Watching the game on TV, this Oxford fan thought 1-1 was a fair result. I have to be happy with a point, though it’s always slightly irritating to lose a lead. It was a shame that Dembele couldn’t score at the death. Muslic is certainly an interesting appointment. It could work out, but it might not. Who can tell?
Glad u enjoyed the vlog and your manager got Oxford well organised. I was worry went he had the shot . I hope it works for us too I feel patient is important with our fanbase
A fair result tonight despite Miron Muslic only having a day and a bit with the players thought Grimshaw had a good game to keep the score at 1-1, definitely need a couple more signings in this transfer window we now move onto Saturday and a home match against QPR
True i take a drew after going 1 down lots of work needed
Thanks lads. Too soon to pass judgement obviously. I like what I 've seen of Muslic and I think he'll sort us out. On the bright side we're still unbeaten in all competitions in 2025! Just need a win now.
That ok and i agree with u many fans already slag him off i think patient and new signings needed. We need a win
who ???
We never heard him ourselves before we do some checking up on it
Great appointment!!
He sure is very promising and hearing his talk today i can t wait
I was hoping for an experienced championship manager. Why does the board insist on taking risks? The last 2 didn’t end well so I hope it's 3rd time lucky. COYG 💚
We all did at the start but Europe manager seem to be working our fine . Yes it a risk but I can see it working
Hello guys, enjoying your channel. I wanted rising coach star norwegian Eirik Horneland, who promoted Sk Brann and almost snatched the gold from Bodø/Glimt the following season. He loves english football, plays 4-3-3. he loves being an underdog and would suit the argyle profile perfect, imo. However, he went to French top side St Etienne, where he had a great start. Muslic is a bold move. I really hope he get a decent start 💚 coyg!
@theHarMer08 hi and thanks u glad u like the channel . I never of him myself and and interesting choice i will need to check up on the St Etienne boss Same here I hope he do as well
Sorry , No not for me
U not sure about the new head coach any reason why ?
I'd like a hungry young British manager or get Olly back unfinished business. I never wanted WR
@@stephenholmes1036 interesting about Ian Holloway and u was not a Wayne Rooney backing ?
I wasn't personally against him, I just didn't think it woukd work
I understand you there lots of fans say it
Great win yesterday!! Surprised everyone didn’t it? Ollie had his photo taken with Miron Muslic, who was sat behind him!! Looking forward to Tuesday and the Oxford game now, hopefully 3 points. Still going to be a difficult match. Cheers John and Ollie
How did john think about the new boss mate Ya great win yesterday did u seen the Bristol vlog yet ? Ya we can t wait for Tuesday and it will be tough mate
Watched a couple of interviews with Muslic and I would say he at least sounds like he's got his head screwed on and knows his football. Let's hope that translates onto the pitch. By the way, what a reward for yesterday getting Liverpool at home in the next round! May God have mercy on our souls 😂!!
@adcollesp true he sound very confident guys and what a tie for us
Great win for Plymouth yesterday,..hopefully you get a top five Premier league club at home in the next round 😊
Thanks it was amazing win yesterday for us and I hope we get a great tie
You've got your wish! 💚
@@martynpope4078ya massive team
@@martynpope4078we did mate
Great catch up bud and we was honest here
Argyle would be better off by bringing Schumacher back only until the end of the season then appoint someone new in the summer
Ya interesting point
Schumacher for me, he's knows the Club, the City, that fans and most of the players, he'll have a huge heads up over any other manager.
Ya true he does but will he stay loyal if another team goes for him
Totally agree 👍
@@TheEvansBoys ya mate good seeing u today
It's a real shame that Rooney's stint didn't work out. I know it's not a popular opinion but I really think there were other factors at play and he would have come good. Unfortunately as supporters we're impatient and get nervous when the results go as they have recently. Easiest thing to calm the nerves is sack the manager. Look at Stoke for example. What is for sure is that Rooney being manager put us on the map, even abroad, where Argyle were virtually unknown. That can't be underestimated long term. Just hope the decision at least leads to better results and staying up this season.
@adcollesp that is true it was i always believed Wayne would get over these spell . Ya it seem like a possibility of other things happening. Ya stoke is sacking 2 manager and there new boss is the 1 I want to take over argyle Ya we had our name around i just hope we pick the right boss
We are going down aren’t we ? 😢
@argyle83 I got everything trust we can do it . But if we do goes down then we fight again mate
@ yeah it’s just worrying the points we have compared to last season -5 and we he goal difference was only -6 this time last season 😬
@argyle83 true i do see your views here we are 8 points less as well I understand
Favourite moment was Leicester home win 1-0
Ya it was amazing moment mate
Good vlog Rich we were unlucky with Boro goals one was a deflection and the other a rebound... Keep playing they we are we can push back up the table .. merry Christmas to all you lads and see you soon 🟢⚫ green army
Thanks u pal and true we waa very unlikely but it good to see us looking back to our best and merry Christmas to u and nicky and happy new year . See u both in the new year mate
Merry Christmas Philip hope you like the Rooney bit
Rich Forgot to mention something ! We’ve never, ever heard a team booing off an injured player (Hardie) whilst on a stretcher!!! Absolutely disgraceful!!
I agree with u it was poor from middbro
Plymouth tried every trick in the book to waste time, it didn’t appear that hardy was badly injured, he was stood up six inches from the touch line for minutes then they decided to step about a yard further on to the pitch, before going down as if he’d been shot, then called for the stretcher. I do agree it’s bad to boo an injured player, and also hope he isn’t badly injured, but also believe the clear cheating in wasting time on every available opportunity is really poor. Your whole team including the manager should have been booed off at the end. It was a shame because your team played really well until the blatant time wasting. If that is turning the corner for you, I feel sorry for you and rest of the season.
@kevinfagan6169 are u a Middlesbrough fan by a chance? I though when I seen it waa slow coming of the pitch and that 1 thing should happen just come of the pitch Thanks we are looking better then we had done i though we try to slow it down a bit Ben dock what a player he is
Morning Rich An exciting game overall! We felt it was a game Argyle could have won, or they could have lost! However, it was a much better performance than the last pre Sheffield United ones. Bundu was excellent and looks a real threat on the wing, he’s more effective there than playing as an out and out striker? There’s something there now, with the addition of some new players in January, and the return of our injured ones, that can give us some hope in avoiding the dreaded drop back to League 1. Ollie and I would like to wish you all a HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND A PEACEFUL NEW YEAR☃️💥☃️💥☃️💥☃️💥☃️💥
Morning john It was very end to end match and we could of won or lose I agree with u about moose he step up big time and will be great to see more of him I agree there something there mate if the defence sort it Do u feel it for conner to return? Merry Christmas to u and ollie have a great one
Great job as usual guys! Compare that (and the Sheff Utd game) to the debacles at Norwich and Bristol and I think we can say we've turned a corner performance wise and if we continue to show that fighting spirit the wins will come. COYG!
Thanks u and i feel we had as well bit worry about the injuries. But I can see a wins coming soon
It was a great vlog bud and very honestly by us
As always, intelligent level headed perspective. At least this was an improvement on the debacles at Norwich and Bristol. Desperately need key players back and to bring in more quality players in January
Thanks u very much and we are desperately for our best players back. But we getting them back mate
Morning Guys! A miserable evening all round yesterday! Started off with an accident holding us up for half an hour on the A38 at Halton. Got into our seats a couple of minutes before kick off! The evening continued to go down hill still further, with, what I think was an awful performance. Can’t believe how many misplaced passes there were, as though the players had never played together before. There’s something missing there, there’s no ‘spark’ in midfield. I don’t like criticising individual players, so I won’t. However there are several players who are simply not good enough. I don’t blame Rooney, hopefully Mike Phelan will prove to be a good appointment. Rooney is like a carpenter, perhaps has the knowledge, but not the the tools to carry out the work. Whoever the new investors are, they need to have bottomless pockets of cash to put this team right! Ollie and I will continue to support Argyle whatever League we will be in for next season. I’m 80 this Saturday and have seen it all before, since my Dad took me to my first game at Home Park in August 1957! Nice to see you last night Rich!
Hi John and ollie True a rough night u had Same Rooney got to work with whst we got and worry it not enough I agree we are missing our spack in midfield a running That true them do we need the right money in hopefully we can Happy birthday for Saturday mate
OH MY SOON 🤣🤣 MOTHERFUCKER AMERICA🇺🇲 SAID YES💦
Great ending and it was good me and Sam managed to both to do our part
Hi Guys Ollie and I couldn’t get down last night for the game, the weather and Ollie having to get up very early this morning to catch the train at Tiverton! Obviously followed it on the radio though. Didn’t seem we played well enough first half particularly, but better in the second. I suppose a point is good in the end!!
Hi John and ollie I did wonder why I never seen you both yes it was tough fight . Great points in the end and hopefully see u Oxford mate
Thanks guys for the boys interview
That alright mate great seeing u both
Thanks for the great vlog and commentary as always. A real nail biter of a match again and arguably an undeserved draw but we'll take it!
Thanks u mate and it was real nail biter but nothing beat that last minutes goals
Brilliant vlog lads we definitely deserved a draw.
Thanks u mate
Lucky as fxxk
Great vlog from us guys and can t wait for Watford
Nice job lads, good analysis which as always was spot on! It's a win anyway so we'll take it and move on!
Thanks u and ya a massive win after 4 games with 1 and hopefully something over derby
What a fantastic win
True great win
Great result for the Green Army, could have been a couple down at half-time thankfully pompey's finishing was rubbish, Obefemi changed the game when he came on with some powerful runs and a great goal. Met Rich last night and had a great chat and laugh I was the Medic sat behind you
True it was great win and I agree poor finish from Portsmouth and it was nice to met u too had a great laugh
Another late night, Rich! Home just before midnight, now on here whilst having breakfast and then the dog walk! We thought it was an awful game, particularly the first half. Who would have thought that Argyle would end up 1-0 winners? Portsmouth were a poor team, although they seemed to shade the first 45 minutes. The substitutions later in the second half certainly livened up the Greens. Thought Wright was lively, and Obefemi got that vital goal when it was much needed. Onwards and upwards…………………hopefully !!!
True John late night snd u was home late mate Ya first half I was impressed with Portsmouth but we look off the pace but the last 20 minutes I we could nick the win These 2 Subs made a massive difference
Good Vlog Guys good result in the end.🪖👊
@TheEvansBoys thanks mate
Well done Rich 👍good job
Thanks u mate
