I always felt the drummers of the 70s bands such as Sabbath, Purple and Free/Bad Company, had the ability to play to the anger, energy and madness of youth. As a young teen then I rocked and rocked to the drumming of Ward, Paice and Kirk (among others). There was a connection like no other.

He is most certainly a legendary drummer but he definitely should have practiced a bit to maintain his chops. He’s been playing stiff for a long time now.

This is amazing, totally amazing, Bill is not as good as in his prime but keep in mind he is over 70 years of age and to me it would not matter how good he is because to me he is still Bill Ward, one of the best drummers of all times and he kicks ass just with he´s presence, this sounds really heavy... f*ck yeah.. :D
