Yes! I struggle with thumb placement too, The book I added to the description didn't talk about thumb placement but it did help a bit. I had to figure it out with a lot of references. The more I use references the more I notice the patterns. Hopefully it this works for you too.

Sins aren't only crimes. It runs as deep as envy, jealousy, greed, lying. When we've experienced the presence of God, his holiness makes us recognize and notice our sin more and more and we become apologetic and repentant towards the slightest sins because we desire his presence always. Fortunately God is merciful and Kind and he Helps us in our weaknesses even when we can't feel it.

@@WonkyClownRibs Lying is a natural human act that can stem from any of those natural human emotions. For instance people can kill because of jealousy, greed or even pleasure. A verse in the bible already explains why this happens, it says sin when it bears fruit leads to greater sins which results in death (Not just physical death but the death of our hearts- the emptiness and lack of true peace). It's just like the popular saying "a stitch in time saves nine" The reason we ask for mercy and the cleansing of our heart is to hinder such sins from existing bearing fruit. Christians believe in the concept of "dying to your sins" as Christ was nailed on the cross, we internally nail our sins and pains at the cross as well and take up the mercy and peace He gives, as well as the promise of life after death. Its a beautiful exchange and a regeneration process where we gradually experience change. To be honest, we do not believe there is any goodness that stems from sin. But I understand what you mean. Edit: I'm talking about this in light of true believers. I'm aware that some people go to church and claim Christianity but do greater evil than even unbelivers, those aren't true Christians... The bible already talks about this as well.
