This is unironically a peak series. Surprisingly deep, lots of board game references, funny. All guarded with some expert gatekeeping. Also 7:15 isn't tax fraud, tax relief is a real thing lol. Go watch some real spicy romance, like Yosuga no Sora or Redo of a Healer.
You have to consider: the manga/light novel (i dont know what this show is based on) had to be so popular that an studio decided to animate that shit
I don't usually watch anime (main source is manga) but Onimai anime is a 9 for me. Wholesome slice of life genderbender but the start of thr Anime is weird. Manga gets a 10/10, pretty fun read.
