Do you think the Vita Prep 3 is right for me? My 5200 is just about dead now because I force it into making very thick smoothies. The one I have does not have a thermal protector so I can run it heavy to the point of the motor getting so hot it smells a bit like it's burning. I load the tall narrow 64 oz container up so that there's enough stuff in there that I can get it to vortex with no air around the blade (that's how I get such a thick smoothie besides adding very little water). I'm hoping I can do the same thing with the Vita Prep 3 without triggering the thermal protector too often.

Will this model accept custom programing
