@@Discodom6 this was long before the residential housing was on the site. This entrance to the RAF camp at the time is the now cul-de-sac of Wellington Drive at the traffic lights on Spa Road
My dad did his basic training there in 1940
One of many thousands over twenty plus years 🥰 during WW2 more people were housed there than in Melksham itself
