I checked out RDPD out of the library and only made it to chapter 3. It was complete rubbish. He's one of those people who is never rich enough. Look at the exhaust tips of random cars, old and new models, they are now always covered in black soot and when people accelerate there is a slight puff of grey smoke. Normally this would indicate a problem with the car but it’s happening to most cars now. Leading me to believe that the quality of fuel is not the same.

There's so much misinformation in this video and I'm only at the 3:24 mark so far. The maximum daily train/bus fair is $18.70 per day and $50 per week, far less than your $25 one way estimate. As someone else pointed out that $4.7M was on a huge block that would likely be subdivided. Over priced yes, but no need to exaggerate. The 3 bedroom house in the West you showed us actually a 4 bedroom, it says so on the listing you showed. The point you're trying to make is valid but making up sensationalist facts only hurts your message

People trust youtubers? That's the real surprise here. TH-camrs are a bunch of charlatans making entertainment on a relatively shoestring budget - some may leverage previous education or knowledge in their content, but certainly have no clue about the sponsored products. Never trust an ad.

I think another smaller category of sponsorships would be ones that are specific to varuous hobbyist or special interest videos. Some examples I see a lot are KEH for photography and Reverb and Sweetwater for music stuff. In those cases these are all just major online retailers who find it advantageous to be able to reach their clientele in a more targeted way. Within their respective industries they might as well be as ubiquitous as Pepsi or Levi's are in their industries so it is interesting to see the choise to use TH-cam sponsorships but it seems to be lucrative. At the end of the day I don't really mind these as much.

I don’t personally hate most of the people doing these ads. TH-cam monetization has become so damn spotty and unstable that taking sponsorships is necessary. I guarantee you if they fixed that shit and made it more reliable, a lot of the people doing ad reads would stop
