I think a good place to start would be putting a trooper in the empty cruiser rather than just having it sit unoccupied in the same spot for 1-2 weeks at a time. Start ticketing the drivers who go 20-30 over the posted limit (to include tractor trailers). It's also extremely unsafe at exit 12 where it breaks to 3 lanes because it's near impossible for trucks to safely merge to the middle/right lane. I could go on for days about the hazard that is I-81 but the only thing that will change it is getting more police presence on the interstate and also enforcing them to abide by the limit.

Though they are deemed illegal in the state of West Virginia I feel if they would set up speed cameras in the work zones this would help save a lot of lives. 9 miles south of the work zone by proctor gamble at the WV/MD line the construction of the new bridge and road in Williamsport on the Maryland side used speed cameras and drivers followed the work zone speed limits.. where 9 miles south at the work zone you have not only passenger vehicles but semi trucks doing 70 to 80mph in the 55 mph construction zone. Make speed cameras legal in work zones in our state! They work!

I agree the Harvard chart is better than the my plate chart, but some things are muddled in the lecture's presentation. At 1:22 -- "metabolically our bodies don't need carbohydrates to survive". That seems like a useless and confusing/misleading factoid. Without fiber (which comes solely from complex carbohydrates) you might "survive" but only until colon cancer and other deadly diseases overtook you at an early age, suffering constipation and diverticulitis in the mean time. At 2:31 she comments, "the Harvard plate says 2 servings of milk per day" but the chart actually says "limit milk/dairy (1-2 servings/day)". Practically, she changed a warning into a recommendation. At 3:48 she correctly says white bread provokes a similar glucose response as sugar. But she continues, warning that "grains are metabolized that way". Really? All grains? Steel-cut oats, too? This seems to have a keto or animal-food-industry bias and lacks precision for a college lecture.
