bro mastered the turn type character for real :o or is it the european version with penta maxed out? I guess that's one of the reasons to remove the spring power-up from the boxes... it's still in the game but there's no means to obtain it other than gameshark codes
Nice skip! Could this SC work with an acceleration character like Coco or N. Gin?
Can you do a WR compilation for all the other lower classes? I always found time trials with medium or turning characters to be more interesting

Is this TAS like N.Gin Labs? Where you cannot have speed higher than UFS for more than 2 frames, no matter how many edge SG you chain? Because if that wasn't the case, I'm sure your SG's would have lasted much longer here. Are all CTR tracks like this?

Is this with Platinum's tech Niiksad showed in one of his latest Turbo Track videos? And proves this tech is faster?
yes it is with right analog stick, the only difference is you dont lose a ridiculously small amount of speed compared to classic uturn. So in the end it saves one or less than a frame. The big time saves in this TAS is not from that tech. Biggest time save are : 1/ i tried a different approach of the section with a late uturn start. 2/ the three turbos (after uturn section) are perfect in the edge/end of turbopads. and finally 3/ the three 1-frame delayed mid-airs at the last turn. These 3 things saved 0.05 in total compared to my last 26"86 TAS. And the last 0.01 i saved is from the final "pause trick" before closing the lap
The froggy in the last grass turn is with perfect jumps ( jump when u r touching the ground )?

Nice TAS, but what was the reason for the power-slide boost before the tunnel on laps 2 & 3? (Also I *really* did not like that speed loss at the end lol)
@@jaru4564 because you dont lose speed with that slide before u do the boost (you lose USF as soon as you touch the tunnel anyway) and it gives extra reserve (1 full boost is way more interesting to have for later part where you save more Time than you Lost ) to be able to froggy longer all others speedghosts. For the speed loss at the end it's not about liking it or not it's only because it's faster to sacrifice reserve in lap 3 by froggying all speedghosts and end with froggy After you lose usf the speed decreases slowly if you froggy it, in fact what i lose in the end is pointless compared to where i gain by reserve sacrifice in lap 3. This strat is one of the main reason why i improved that much the TAS, the idea Comes from Zord. You Can look at the lap 3 Time to see why it's worth even if u lose Usf before end : lap 3 is the fastest lap of the course. The end froggy is very fast anyway.
@@jaru4564 this track is way more complex in TAS than you think. These new strats obliterated my old TASes even if it's more counter intuitive, Zord proved me it was faster and i tested it, and this is the result, almost 2 seconds faster than previous TAS
The speed feels unnormal.
it's normal, it's a classic USF (Ultimate Sacred Fire). In turbo track all turbopads give USF, then if you have enough reserve you can keep it. Also just to mention the human WR is 27"10, so only 0"30 behind the TAS, and humans are almost equal to TAS in half of the track. So doing normal froggy into the M turn actually WAS useful! Nice
ye it's because i can press square later like this when my angle is a lot better. i have a better setup and a better speed for the whole section like this, i saved a frame in the uturn

Does the pausing do anything useful?
Ye it changes the last frame of the run, a 0.04 is replaced by a 0.03, my time without the trick was 26"81. In fact frames are rolling in the pause menu, and it's always 0.04 or 0.03 time for each frames, i press resume to game to get a 0.03 frame at last frame
Can you do this on every 0.04 frame? (Yes I know it would be boring to watch)

@@blahpy I think technically yeah but it would be nearly impossible to gauge them and if you saved one or not. It would be a very boring trial and error.
@@GalaxianSR after testing the answer is No. it seems that it only depends of the frame where you press pause and not when you press X, and lot of frames dont work at all even if you wait in the menu. So you could do it for many frames but not all
Nice !! But how did you get the USF (Ultra Sacred Fire) in the first lap ?
SAFFI (infinite reserve) =/= USF (Max speed), in this TAS i have both. To get Saffi do lot of boost until the flame disapear, to get USF you just hit any turbo pad in this track because they are all Super Turbo pads

How long did it take to piece this monstrosity together? What's the reason behind constant (bunny)hopping over drifting? Does it maintain speed/reserves better if done with inhuman consistency?
It takes lot of session over a month. The hopping tech is called "Froggy" and it's also used by players, it's basically to make the speed decrease slower after your get a huge speed boost from a source ( exemple : downhill gravity ), this speed boost can be granted different ways and we called them " speedghost ". Froggy also can trigger very fast propulsion and bounce on uphills surface. In TAS is use froggy tech more than human players for two reason : first inhuman froggy is stronger thanks to frame perfect inputs, secondly i keep chaining speedghost from everywhere, so my speed is almost always above "normal" values so i have to froggy to maintain the maximum speed i can between two speed boost source
