There is a howeling Air Noise on my 2010 L322 that I hear when I drive. I did some research on the forums and they said this might be a fix. The issue is that it’s only the right side( passenger side) and not the left side (Drivers side) After installing the noise is still there but has diminished 10 fold, so I can say maybe if I find the other part number for the other side I may be able to fi...

      @@juniordace1347no worries ask away as many questions as you may have!!! That is the way we teach, learn and retain knowledge. Back your questions Short answer: Yes coolant runs through the heater element regardless of you using your windshield wiper. You may ask why? Mercedes wanted to have your windshield washer fluid always Hot in case you needed to defrost your window in a cold morning/day or you need to get those sticky dead bugs off your windshield. It would make it easier.

    I used an extension with a wobble snaking from the backside. My mount bolt accessible from the drivers side also with an extension. Took the trans shift assembly loose ( two bolts one nut), coil and out the top she came. Could have gotten it out the wheel well too for a little more hassle. Whole job-1 1/2 hour with breaks.

    Putting the air compressor in the trunk makes so much sense! Easy to access and protected from the elements. It is mounted on the left side frame of the LR3, replacing it was a pain but it had to be done.

    Coolant and washer fluid are different thing. Why would would it have coolant

    • @HoodStar413z
      @HoodStar413z ปีที่แล้ว

      There is a Heater Element in the Windshield reservoir. Those metal pipes are from the coolant line. The Heater element (coolant lines) are inside your windshield reservoir to ALWAYS Supply to your windshield Fluid. So when it’s a cold day and need to get that Morning Dew or Morning frost from your windshield, the liquid is already warm.

    I like the colorful language, it's authentic feels. It's what all us guys go through dealing with cars and trying to fix things ourselves to save from getting ripped off at dealer. This is helpful, I have an old 01' W220 and opened the roof today and heard some crunchy noises. Now roof won't fully close and I think some plastic shit broke at the baffle hinge. The spring was totally fallen off it. Cannot push down baffle all the way so looks like roof won't fully close because it cannot tuck it in down all the way. fml.

    The reservoir you are talking about is washer fluid for the windshield. It is not coolant for the radiator. There is no relationship from one tank to the other.

      Negative Ghost Rider, The windshield washer fluid is always Heated at all times. The COIL that goes inside the windshield washer fluid IS CONNECTED to the coolant lines. So coolant is constantly flowing through the coil to keep the windshield washer fluid Hot. The reason the windshield washer fluid is hot is because the Europeans made sure that no matter what , in any environment the fluid could defrost the windshield in cold weather as well as remove dirt and grime. Mercedes W140’s even had this integrated in them.

    Yo! My sway bar bushings on my 2013 s550 w221 are deteriorated, but the sway bar itself is good! I noticed your new sway bar comes with bushings attached. however, your old one doesn't have bushings. Does this mean i can just replace the bushings and not the sway bar?

    • @HoodStar413z
      @HoodStar413z 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are able to do it either way. Replace the bushings Or Replace the sway bar with the new updated sway bar that has the bushing glued onto it. The reason I replaced the entire sway bar was because the bushing I ordered online where not the correct size as it stated and because it pulled my cars steering to the right. So I bit the bullet and got the Part instead and the car no longer pulls.

    Update****9Feb2022 The wheel bearings came loose. I hear the clunk again. I will have to do research on why they loosened up or if I didn’t tighten it tight enough or the bearings could be bad, and I just need to replace the wheel bearing locking nut and the wheel bearing on both sides. We shall see but the shit is aggravating me.
