Hearty Congrats Sriram for this eye opening video and the subject which you have chosen to address. You have rightly cautioned parents and elders in Society about the present generation of children. Today's children are generally very mobile savvy and are hooked on for long hours to the mobile and engage themselves in virtual friendship thanks to the evils arising out of Social Media. This is a dangerous precedent and doesn't augur well for today's youngsters. You will generally find tweens and teenagers in depression, unable to cone fo terms with themselves and unable to cope with failure, leading to their taking drastic steps. This is where Positive Parenting comes in. Parents also need to be educated on how the child should grow with the right value system and learn the right vocabulary which develops Sanskar in the child. This issue is deep-rooted and can be addressed to a great extent by downplaying the competitive environment and emphasizing more on collaboration and cooperation among children. I trust there will be a sequel go this first video and typical problems of children are identified in detail and the root cause is eliminated. Inculcation of the right Sanskar in the child from an early age of 3 years onwards will strengthen the child's socio emotional skills to face and overcome 21st century challenges. The behaviour of the present generation is shaped by cut-throat competition, one-upmanship, parental expectations and peer pressure and pursuit of materialistic desires. Under these circumstances, we cannot expect them to take life's challenges as opportunities to grab. Sriram, you have just shown the tip of the iceberg.
