I have been calling the speed they're running at hardware store speed since a lot of indiviually owned and franchised hardware stores like True Value or Ace would run a fan or few fans they put up many times being Hunter Originals like those or plastic Emerson Designers, Emerson Casablanca Classic Premiums or blender fans at that speed. Those hardware stores love their medium speeds. Plus they would throw up a fan model for install of what they may have sold in their stores.

Looks great, and with a brighter bulb installed that’s all the light you need. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxWF88GpljEn-0o34vtLFazEQ5h5Q33SjU As far as ease of installation- this was my first ceiling fan and it took about 3 hours because I had no idea what I was doing and also it’s helpful to have a second set of hands and a magnetic drill bit. Works great.

Maybe one of the blades broke so they remove the rest of the broken blade and remove the opposite blade so that they could still use it
