It's a hard one! Only recently found out about it. Didn't beat it but I plan on getting back into it, just needed a DK break haha

Funny story about that. Nintendo had another company Falcon produce arcade cabinets for DK since they weren't able to keep up with the demand. So it's basically an official DK clone / port made on different arcade hardware based on the Crazy Climber cabinet. Falcon distributed the game across seas without Nintendo's permission and had the license revoked, so it basically wound up being a bootleg anyway lol

I've been on a retroachievement grind lately, beating a lot of old stuff in preparation for the upcoming gamecube cheevs coming out, but I do plan on getting through every piece of Wolfenstein content I can find, for every platform at some point! Official, mod, *everything*

​​@@WizFace2137 yes it is hard but an excellent adventure. I plaid also the sequel on genesis and the game on Dremcast ( I never finished it on DC too difficult )

Pretty much how it sounds raw without any filtering, isn't it beautiful? Haha it sounded better on the other emulator cores but I was having issues with certain things so I used gearsystem. Did wind up getting Picodrive to work smoothly by turning off the pixel limit though and the game definitely sounded much better afterwards.

A homie was telling me about the Dreamcast game when I was playing them. I only ever played the original Genesis version before these endeavors and didn't even know it made it to 3D haha, quite curious to try it out when I get up to it

It's a mod for the Japanese version of the game that adds the option between analog and button controls, widescreen support and some options for how the village quests are handled, since they varied slightly between the American and Japanese versions. Nice to see people getting into the older ones though! My first was Tri, although I didn't really get absorbed until World. Made me want to go back to the beginning.

Thanks! It's on the Panasonic 3DO, came out late 1993. The game did pretty mediocre because everything in the time was stuck in Wolfenstein & Doom's shadow, but this along with Pathways into Darkness are my favorite pre-Doom FPS titles, above Wolfenstein for me personally

Truly. Was a bit rough around the edges and it got pretty poor reviews, but I quite enjoyed this one. The level design is often ridiculed but I thought it was ambitious for the time

Admittedly, it's something I don't do because my focus is gaming more than anything. The vids are mainly for history and documentation purposes more than a goal of being entertaining or something like a walkthrough. Although if I grow enough of a following I would consider hiring an editor

Amazing it even came to the DOS at all. Glad it did though. It's such a great version of the game. Much more functional than the Apple II lol

Never heard of that one. Quite enjoyed Castle Wolfenstein so I'll have to check it out. Into the Eagle's Nest looks a bit more evolved judging by the screenshots

It's pretty much a monster hunter clone. Very fun game if you like engaging hack and slash combat!

Fantastic series. 2 was my fav as a kid. As an adult, I'd say it's 3 now. Reach has a really good campaign if you like the depressing vibe
