Good luck, the inside of it is 😍🔥🥰. I got to stick to what I have and focus more on 1:10 as primary racer.. too much means more upgrades/tires/accessories/parts.. Going broke😆😂 At least with this one even though the high price.. you won’t need to upgrade many parts, full shine inside 😍 I will just watch everyone play with this and stick to my FG which is only 1:5 I own.

@@3712bigboy Definitely an expensive piece of art lol. But yeah if to get into the hobby it cost a fortune, very few will get into it. Unless of course if it is a lifestyle.. well then this is the Gucci. 🤔😂

The hobby isn’t really dying, it’s just that most RC enthusiasts, invest in cheaper RTR’s and builder kits, which can still run into the hundreds of dollars….and with modifications and multiple vehicles can still add up to thousands over time! Yes, it’s definitely an expensive hobby especially with vehicles like this one!

Haha, old video of my stepson trying a 4wd 4tec on a drift track that opened in the mall. 2wd much better for this. I still haven’t purchased the 4tec drifts, been all about on road racing but have 2 MST, a Yokomo and a few misc drift chassis that would probably work better though I would still probably suck as I still haven’t used them enough yet, perhaps the winter when the on road is done.

@Obviously_pro it’s 2wd, can drift like a King if you drive it right, I’m told there are softer tires available for a little more grip.

We do have that going on but I think current track too large since these cars are very slow by comparison to what we run with 1:10, think the plan is to setup a secondary track so more people can enjoy RC racing, but I’m hoping their marketing gets those NASCARs in every kids stocking and gets more kids into this.. turn it into a lifestyle and then the demand creates RC tracks in parks like skate parks and dog parks.. lifestyle stuff😂 Wishful thinking.

@@richardbrown6762 there are so many benefits, allows people to meet new people, positive group gatherings for people to share what they enjoy.. but usually it has to become a nuisance.. (not saying be a nuisance, always be respectful to the law if they ask you to leave, leave)like skateboards everywhere in streets.. dog poop everywhere in parks.. then they created them.. has to be grassroots.. get some garden hose, get a transponder system, get some chalk, make your own track near where you are and invite people.. build that dream my man! @@KingP321 I would love to race with you guys but I'm in Florida we used to race ovals on the parking lots 20 years ago our nitro cars was running 50mph I had hpi rs4 belt drive we had lots of fun back then I'm just now getting back in to rc cars but I don't know anything about the electric cars and trucks I just bought 4 since March lol happy racing 😎👍

Was an endurance race, 2 racer teams, run for 1 1/2 hours, most laps when when time done. My universal swing shaft on my Kyosho Fazer broke, didn’t have a spare. Still was able to drive it but then I also had 1 bad battery so could not continue race 😭

Majority are Max5 combos, my car personally has a max5 1100kv system 44T Spur and 24T pinion and it isn’t slow. I was not able to run mine yesterday as the motor mount needed some repair, maybe next weekend, though when I am up in lineup usually my cars not in videos 😂 I need a phone stand to record everything 😂 I think majority running max5 or max4 combos

@@KingP321 Hey, thank you for the answer. I suppose it is the optical distortion of the camera, because I have a 4x4 FG sportsline with a max5 800kv combo, and it felt a LOT faster then what you guys seemingly buzzing around. But thanks for the clarification.

@@TX010 unfortunately I have not used my RC boat enough to determine which is better. The Traxxas Spartan is almost as quick as the sonic wake. The sonic wake probably has the worse steering out of the 3. Can turn right ok but left good luck 😂

Well now that they have a 2wd version perhaps will get better.. that was the 4wd version with drift wheels.

@@EriMCardenasRC Honestly as a newb, I picked up a few drift cars and the best out the box was the MST. I have a Yokomo YD2-Z kit I purchased and needed a friend who knew drift to help me setup the gyro after the build, was a pain and still not perfect. I like out the box and ready.

Yeah but Traxxas just came out with a new 4tec drift which changes everything. Though experts may say it is a beginner’s drift car, it’s still cool to be a 4tec

@@caseycatob5069 I’m getting the white version. Only thing that may suck is I don’t think they have light buckets. They need to go into that community and really listen. Another thought is they need to make obtaining licenses to make aftermarket parts super cheap to free else I think this launch will be a fail for the people in the know for drifting

@@KingP321 yeah but let’s be real, for the price it’s already a lot of car, Traxxas had every right to make this a $600 machine by throwing a BL2-S in it and some more detail, but they didn’t, it’s tied with the cheapest RTR RWD Drift car on the market which also doesn’t have light buckets so, I could take em or leave em for the price point

@@caseycatob5069 yes it was definitely a surprise to see the price tag at $329. But if they want into the scene this is the first step. Next is to truly listening to the die hard hobbyist as their feedback and input towards the creation of it will bring credibility to their drift car. Apparently feedback was ignored. Either way, it’s a 4tec and just like my 3.0 on road, I stuck drift wheels on it to try on a drift track, definite fail but had to try.. will try making the drift a 2wd on road for racing or bashing lol
