1000ft iconic antenna in UK. And yes I eF'ed up the spelling in the title. Thanks for the heads up. 😉
You guy’s are amazing. I used to do a lot of rock climbing 25 years ago. But I don’t think I have the nerve to do anything like this ever again. I’ll just stick to flying my drone.
Birds gave their seal of approval.
This looks incredible.
It was, although the hike & climb was probably the scariest bit. Couldn't have wished for a better day for it.
I'll put it out on the group chat next time. Maybe get one more in this year. 😗
Nigel when you going off them next get in touch where r they
NICE ONE DUDE.
❤❤
❤❤❤
Let's twist again...now that's some serious trench humour. Nice bit of air time too...
!!👍💙💙💙💙💙💙
No, same one, probably the 360 makes it look smaller.
Does that parachute look smaller than your usual one? Bearing in mind I know sweet fanny adam about parachutes.
bro why u are u not showing the floor while u jump
I`m not great at editing 360` footage & it takes me ages, but watch this space & i`ll put another perspective up just for you. . Thanks for watching.
Balls of steel old friend ✌❤
Epic, absolutely effing epic!
@@The_Reality_Filter Thanks. We tried to do this two years ago, but had to abort due to bad weather.
Decent video
Yepp, really good video, just the way I like! Could you put some info about that tower, not the location, but height maybe? Thanx!
awesome. no commentary. only action.
Where is this tower nigel how high
There's always gonna be another mountain... You're always gonna wanna make it move... always gonna be an uphill battle............ It's the climbbbbbbbb. Really though, nice A.
Where was that nigel
It's all about the suspense. 😅
I'm guessing The Jump is uploading...
Oh my days...the hair on my arms is standing up just watching this from the comfort of my Sherbourne recliner. Do you ever wear a heart rate monitor?
Ha ha! ,never. As long as it`s still ticking after the jump is all that matters.
@@6Nigel9 Fair play to ya...it must be spiking hard when you're about to jump...or have you become so desensitised to it that your heart barely skips a beat? My inner scientist thinks you should perform a study on yourself! :)
Every jump gives a different level of fear still depending on numerous factors. Fear is good as it keeps you focused & more fear = more adrenaline. Thanks for watching.
How many ft was it?
1000`
0:14 for a second I thought that lamp was a mushroom cloud (edit: formerly “could”🤦♂️) rising up in the distance 😮😅
Would love to see the video of the climb up.
I have footage of an aborted climb due to winds. Was too dark for the Gopro this time.
Good for you, man. Respect.
Cheers dude!
Jesus....
Look out for the guide wires ouch
Where is this tower how high
I'm always impressed by the engineering of these masts that are able to support the weight of the jumpers enormous gonads!
😅, we balance the weight with a small brain.
How dangerous/difficult is this compared to static line jumping from a plane? Complete novices can do a solo static pine jump from a plane with little training and no experience, can the same be said for static line base jumps?
That bridge is 480ft. You don't get much canopy time for landing, so it helps if you have plenty of skydive experience first. Most BASE instructors won't train anyone under 200 skydives unless you have experience with paragliding. Even experienced can make mistakes. Re my 'Simon' video.
@6Nigel9 ah ok, thank you for the info! It's something i have always wanted to do, but if having 200 skydives is a prerequisite, it's a bit out of my reach. I will stick to living the dream vicariously through you, brother 🤣 stay safe my man ✌️
@John Redcorn Thanks John. When I decided I wanted to be a BASE Jumper, I hadn't anticipated how much it would cost & how long it would take me. 18yrs later & many thousands of pounds spent, I finally got there. I'll never regret anything. It was a fantastic journey. I nearly gave up. So glad I didn't.
I also like donuts
😝 ᑭᖇOᗰOᔕᗰ
Na, that was awesome 👍
You should have seen the landing. I deliberately left that out. 🤣
Did you track up jump run?
No. Miles away. 😉
Awesome!
Thanks!
Its Granddad Dan, one of the best base jumpers in the world and for sure the best the UK ever produced, I believe he won the base jump world championship and came runner up a few times. He must be knocking on 60 now, just shows age is in the mind.
Dan witchells i believe...
Height?
240'
Where was this?
Verrieres, France, near Millau.
@M D I did 17 jumps on the coarse with DTM. I've done 22 more since I've been back in the UK. Whenever time & the weather allows. 😁
@M D BASE is a lot safer than it used to be. Now we have very experienced jumpers with good training in place. I have 15yrs experience in Skydiving & other extreme sports. My philosophy is when you're time is up it doesn't matter what you are doing. I've had a good life 😉.
@M D Skydiving is safer than BASE jumping. Only you know your capabilities and don't go beyond your limits and you'll be as safe as you can be. Good luck Bro!

Great Memories Ed. May the good times continue.
That’s my uncle
Nice rig mate!
Thanks Charlie de 2E0LSI.
Ya bastard nige that had my heart racing just watching the vid. Like to think I'd give it ago but to be honest I think I'd shit myself on the plane
OOOHHHH, AHHHHHH. I'd still poop my pants jumping out of a plane.
Isa-Bubble, yay. Super missing our play-time :(
I've only ridden a directional a handfull of times & havn't learnt to jybe yet. Thanks for watching.
Nice vlog but why are u not jibing ?
