Thank you Craigy! 🤗
Thank you Craig 🕊💕🕯

Good stuff my awakened brother ❤ enjoy the dream 😊
Thanks for the video, Craig. How to you differentiate between awareness and thought, especially if one is watching his/her thoughts?
Awareness is always present. Thoughts come and go, and yes, you can watch them with awareness. There are times when we forget awareness and live from our thoughts (i.e. believing them, following them sub-consciously), so our practice is to focus back to awareness to become conscious of them again.
@@zenlife_craig Thanks!😃

Thank you Craig for a very helpful video ❤
Thank you for the lovely comment and for watching.

OMG this makes so much sense Craig! thank you so much! Its actually amazing too that you called it The Art .. me being an artist.. lol.. I can see the fluidity of communciation and how it's constantly changing.. I can see in myself when the other person might say something that triggers the orange from the green in me!!! .. My work as a companion to the elderly has certainly really helped in being mindful.. just being present.. it's a beautiful thing when you offer someone space to just be.. . But when I get home I am grumpy at times.. and would like someone to be present for me! hehehe.. there have been people that do that off course in my life.. like yourself... but sometimes just in that moment it would be nice eh... ah we are all a work in progress eh.. thank you so much for making this video.. it really helps!! especially the traffic light system.. and when you said we don't have to fix anyone.. wow!! I've been a 'fixer' all of my life and now learning to let that go and just be... the artist <3
Thanks for your lovely comment Shona.

another lovely meditation
Love it!
That was very helpful. Thank you
thank you.
why not less universe, more person?
You're not separate from the universe as a person - this video is (trying) to demonstrate that if we think less 'ego-thoughts' of separateness as a person, we'll discover more innate wisdom and peace through awareness (which feels more universe). Example: sitting and feeling sunshine on this body's face is awareness (and non-separation from 'me' and 'sun' it's all happening simultaneously) rather than thinking 'I feel the sun on my face' which is an 'ego-thought' that separates us from the sun. All I can say is, try it in 'your own' life and see where you get to. I'm not suggesting we never think about ourselves or consider what to do etc but the insight of emptiness/interbeing can transcend our thoughts - especially if they're causing us suffering. From this body's experience, the more I think of myself as a person separate there's more suffering, whereas the more sitting in awareness and letting things be without thinking them through, there's less suffering. Thanks for your question and for watching this video which is appreciated!
@@zenlife_craig I agree! In a bit of a "joker"-y manner i wanted to see your reply. Love from Sweden! We are all one, we are it! Sometimes i struggle with the universe/consciousness/god creating suffering. I am interested in what people who see, what we see, have as an answer for that. My own answer is that it is incomprehensible for our small part of the whole to understand. Perhaps it is a piece of art. What do you think?
@@Sebastian_S_Azar yes, our minds can't fathom the understanding of it but it kinda 'feels' right when you sink into it via meditation. Love the idea of it being a piece of art - there is definitely a 'feeling' of beauty, of wonder, of awe! Love from Scotland!!
@@zenlife_craig I wish you all well in life and the experience of "your" consciousness ❤️
I find that (when judging) it’s also impossible to escape feeling guilty. The reason we judge is to place / throw guilt outside of our perceived selves, onto “others”, in order to avoid feeling / being guilty. So, I would add that going into our own guilt / fear / shame Totally and meeting it fully can bring peace / grace / forgiveness of “self” and “other” / freedom. I don’t mean to sound like I know what I’m talking about, but it’s something I’ve experienced.
Thanks Alycia. Being with the guilt will certainly help it and bring peace. It is possible to judge without feeling guilty - probably by sitting with the guilt more and more it eases and doesn't re-arise - that's certainly been this body's experience! :-)
What about judging judging ?
Yup, another one to notice. If awareness notices judging of judging then it can observe the thought and watch it pass by without interaction.
@Walter-ou4zx If someone stabs "you" and that leads to pain -- what/who is *experiencing* said pain? What ever word you want to name that -- that is awareness.
@Walter-ou4zx "f who you think you are is different from the you who is aware." Why are you making that presumption? I chose my words very carefully -- read again. If i had to -- "I" would identify myself as consciousness in the state of the present moment. As to your "pain is an illusion to awarness"... Well... No. It is a different state of consciousness. To state that a state of consciousness is an illusion is paradoxical. The phenomenological state of "illusion" requires consciousness in said state to begin with. If you want to make a logical coherent argument that "experiencing pain" is an illusion, well you are just playing some dennet-like weird semantic game. If consciousness "hallucinates" the vision of a flower, i would still be correct in stating the vision of the flower.
@Walter-ou4zx Dude; that was exactly my point. You are playing semantic games. We are on TH-cam trying to communicate with words. That is the the best we can do. Therefore, we still have to use words in order to communicate! You can rant all the while about how you think all three words: "communicate", "illusion" and "flower" means pooping. If that is your game "all words are made-up words by humans", I will now play by your logic. Your whole reply and everything in your text in my opinion is that you wrote "i believe that you write that Elvis is still alive and is an alien." I do not believe that elvis was an alien and he lives on the moon. Therefore I am correct.
What do you think awareness is? It's a curious question to ask and nobody truly knows the definitive answer. The mind can't understand awareness in essence; it's beyond the mind. When you're not thinking - there is awareness. If I even try to contemplate it in my mind, I'm no longer 'in' awareness, I'm thinking about it. It has to be experienced to be felt. Thank you both for your dialogue and interesting conversations!
You have a day too!

This is absolutely beautiful! As i have been following more non duality, i kept getting stuck on why wasn’t something working out for me, or why was i so stuck in this specific area or what can i do to change that. This msg was what i needed. Be less person and more universe! Thank you so much !
