I looked at moving from Park City Utah to McCall as a retirement move. McCall is much more affordable. Housing, food, entertainment, are all less expensive. But.... It's more remote, longer harsher winters. I spent a full year there to test the waters. Still very high on my list. Such a beautiful place!

Mud season in McCall----- I think all your "Mud" was used up by all the Girl Scouts who came to camp this past summer. Mud was in between ... all their toes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! From 4 seasons CAP camp nurse from Missouri..... Hehehehehheheheheeee

If you like uneducated white people, you will love Cascade. I know this because I am white and so is 99% of the area. It’s Mark Fuhrnan paradise.

There are 3 or 4 trailer parks in McCall . $250 to $450 a month. It's a hunting and fishing town.

HOA and/or CC&Rs is a no thank you.

Hope you have flood insurance if you buy the ones in cascade. Seen that area flooded more than once.
