This is, more than likely, just wishful thinking. All of this has been in reaction to a rumor that a 'new DS' was going to shown at Retromobile in Paris next February. Stellantis divorced DS/CX/SM, etc. from the actual Citroën brand some 6 or 7 years ago. IOW not allowed to use them. DS Automobiles is a completely separate line up of cars and with no relationship with the original Citroën company. As a long, long time owner of real Citroën (DS/2CV/SM/XM) I would love to see a modern version of my beloved DS21BVH Pallas. But. that is not going to come from DS Auto. To be a true DS, regardless of outside sheet metal - though have to admit some of the AI renderings do look spectacular, to actually be a 'real' DS it would have to have the hydropneumatic suspension with variable height adjustment that adjusts to weight changes and a weight dependent braking system. In addition it needs the original single spoke steering wheel along with the DRAVI steering rack, front drive geometry of the original DS and SM's. And Peugeot killed all that back in 2015 with the last of the C5's.
