The eight story building on the right at 4:50 is a former bank where the 2009 film "Public Enemy" with Johnny Depp was partially filmed. The ten story building at 5:30 is the old Raulf Hotel where celebrities such as world-renowned opera star Enrico Caruso stayed when he performed at the nearby Grand Opera House (still open and gloriously restored) in the early 20th century. The government building at 7:00 is Oshkosh City Hall, formerly the high school until the mid-1960s. So much more history and gorgeous buildings on the National Register that were not shown in this brief video.

Rosendale is a shortcut compared to driving on interstate highways. It’s a very busy road and it would be impossible to live there and very unsafe if the traffic drove through town fast. I’m sure its reputation cuts down on the traffic and raises funds. 😂

Was driving big truck back in late '90 s coming into Rosedale from the south, tie rod dropped off. What a trip! Got rescued and 2 new tie rod ends in Green Bay 😢😂

It's where two state hyways meet!!! But Rosendale is very tough on speeders! Two of my family members have been given speed tickets in this town! Oshkosh connecting to waupun is not what you say! It's 45 minutes from waupun and most of the way is 55 mph So don't bullshit around with false facts

My husband , and I looked at a few large homes in Wisconsin Avenue and Park Drive. It’s amazing how affordable the mansions and regular homes are in this part of the state. We were moving from Seattle, WA and our tiny $1,200,000 house in West Seattle could actually buy us a mansion in the Midwest. The cost of living is very very affordable almost cheap! We ultimately decided to keep our tiny house in Seattle but we are still looking to move. My daughter joked and said if we bought a mansion we might be the richest family in town or one of them.

Antigo sucks, our unofficial town (yeah, town not city), saying (which everybody says and knows more than the elicited saying) is come on vacation and stay on probation. Town if full to the brim with drug addicts, liars, and cheats. So if you don't want to be stuck here or arrested due to some random drug addict lying and the cops lying, too. Dont go to antigo.

Thanks for bringing back a few memories. I lived in the next town over from Neenah, in Menasha. It was over a decade ago and only for a few months. But I enjoyed it a great deal. And it's never worked out where I've been able to make a visit back, but hopefully soon. If you haven't been yet, the next time you pass through, be sure to try Cranky Pat's pizzeria. If it's even half as good as it was when I was there, the pizza will be amazing.

Point is one of the worst places to live. It's overrun with exstream politics. Similar to Seattle or California. There have been two down town murders just in front of the library in the last 4 months. Many have disappointed from the down town bar district. Great place for BLM, antifa, or gay pride.

For a year round population of under 3 K that town has two full service grocery stores, with the pig and pick n save. and a decent amount of Fast food , even a culvers. I'm sure many of the sit down restaurants are seasonal or reduced hours off season. Still looks like a nice little town to retire too or snow bird from.
