I'm just a woman who has always loved singing. For some reason, when I was younger I didn't have the confidence to post the things I recorded. Three weeks ago (we are in March 2024 now) I found a video. In this video there was a sentence who caught my attention. The sentence was in Italian, my mothertongue. It was something like "In life you must fail, and fast". And I thought about all the times when I thought "this thing is not good, it doesn't have quality at all" or "I'm not satisfied with what I'm doing". I used to have other TH-cam channels before, and anytime I received a bad comment I felt bad and gave up in some way. Now I'm not that girl anymore, I have changed (and thank God!), this is my "space" (not the myspace that us Millennials recall well), but just my space. You are free to come in, if you like what I do.

I don't know. I never took vocal classes, I just sing when I feel like it
Did you get a Copyright Strike from TH-cam for re-recording this song? I know we all are dealing with it. We're not riping off artists or trying to earn money recording songs. Perhaps somebody thinks we are.
When you upload a cover on TH-cam, with nowdays technology, TH-cam is able to understand if the content you are posting is original or not. Of course this song is not mine. So let's say that one of my covers hypothetically reaches 1 million views. I won't be paid for that. Or maybe I will, but in a small amount, because I'm using something that is not mine. And TH-cam knows it. Personally, I'm not here for the money. I'm here because after 15 years I decided to share here things I had already recorded. Of course, when I'll start recording again, maybe I'll create new content with a different perspective. I can use covers (that I truly like, not the ones to get views) to let people know that "I exist", and that they might or might not like me. But TH-cam will pay me, for example, if I record vlogs where I talk about something different, something original, something which is mine. I hope I answered your question.
