When I import the 3DM file to Maxsurf, an error occurs saying "manifold surface detected." When I use IGES instead of 3DM, a different error occurs, stating "unsupported knot vector," and I still can't get the result I want.

Hi! Great tutorials. I am a naval architect student and working on developing the lines in Rhino 7 for a Panamax containership design project. I am having trouble modelling a cutaway stern bulb. Right now i am modelling the half hull surface as one lofted surface. Do you have any tips? Thanks.

How do you calculate the hydrostatic and hydrodynamics of the ship? Is it possible using Rhino? Or you export then use another software? Thanks a lot for the video
For a simple hydrostatics you can use rhino just to know the displacement and center of buoyancy but for further analysis you have to export it as STEP or IGES and import it to another software like maxsurf, ansys, starccm, femap and etc.
And you haven’t make video regarding bow/stern of this vessel

Hi! When i applied the stringers on the hull from Rhino in Structure Module of Maxsurf, stringers sticks the outside of the hull. Do you know the solution? thx.

it looks like the final hull surface is not perfectly smooth.
You have to check it first using zebra analyze
