Basically just bad videos of garbage cars.
I mainly video things for my own reference and for friends to see what I'm up to, but I figured I'd share anyways. I have no plans to do this professionally, so don't count on the budget getting any better. Thanks for watching anyways.

AT3 update 11/3/24

The previously rebuilt AT3 has now been un-built, down to the rolling chassis. Majority of the parts will be up for sale on eBay here in the next few weeks, but I'll be keeping the rolling chassis for a future project.

Update on the street tracker from this past Saturday. Rode it on the street for the first time today, it did great besides the clutch being toast which I expected.

Some carnage from the last race. I should probably start gathering parts to get this thing ready for next season

Update on Version 1 of the "yellowjacket" AT2 Street tracker project. I'll revise a couple small things here and there, but overall it's pretty close to being finished. I'll probably take it down and make everything look good this winter or next spring.

The final installment of the Accord clear coat "restoration". It's not pretty by any means, but it makes the car look much better than it did and won't stand out as much in traffic.
1972 Honda CB350 running Thursday 9/5/24

Got the CB350 running! Need to fix a couple small things before it's on the road, but that should happen this weekend. I did ride it around the yard after recording this. This is likely the first time this bike has run this long in over 20 years.

Southern California had hundreds of these in the 70's. I wonder how many Yamaha made. Must have been a lot.
@@mikeh.753 I've thought about that too, I'd love to see the production numbers on these things!

@@dcee366 not a bad idea! This one has since become a parts bike, but I might have to do some shopping and possibly resurrect it later
You could touch up the frame with a brush and a small tin of black paint it's better than spraying for getting into those tight hard to spray places I recently painted my Yamaha SR500 frame I actually had a couple of attempts before I was happy with it I paint striped it then blasted it with a small sand blasting gun and before spraying it knowing there would be places that would be difficult to reach when spraying I did those place with a brush first I laid the paint on too heavily and it had runs and it curdled up a bit so to save a lot of time restriping it I took it to a local blaster and had him remove my first attempt And he suggested the same thing I'd done paint the difficult parts with a brush before spraying it I made a painting stand from an old exercise bike I welded up a bracket that mounted to the exercise bike's seat post and ran threaded rod through the front lower engine mounting holes in the frame and through my bracket and I was able to swing the back of the frame up to be close to vertical and painted under the frame and while the epoxy enamel paint was still wet swung it back down horizontal to do the top, it worked well Brush painting has it's place it will pump paint into places spraying won't reach I've got Hodaka dirt bikes with cast steel cylinders and always paint them with a brush you can get right in between the fins with the right brush better than you ever could trying to spray them and you don't see brush marks on the cast metal
IM ABSOLUTELY NOT GOING FOR POINTS HERE........WHY ???? I HAD AT1M...AND RACED IT..DROVE THE BIKE INTO THE GROUND....NEVER. HAD TO DEAL WITH THE POINTS IN SIX YEARS OF DAILY HARDCORE ABUSE ..I PUT LIGHTS ON MY AT1 M...AND A LICENSE. PLATE.....HAD A VERY USED DT1 C....IN SEVEN YEARS NEVER HAD TO TOUCH THE POINTS......HAD. A RT1 M...NEVER HAD TO TOUCH THE POINTS..........TO ME....ITS. ONVIOUS....YOU HAVE ZERO ECPERIENCE. WITH THESE BIKES........INSTALL A NEW SET OF POINTS...DO IT RIGHT ...AND RIDE THEM TILL THERES NO TRANSMISSIONS LEFT.
Cool
Dude take it to the dump, is not worth it
Pretty cool it has guages and headlight, tanks can be repaired. One of my tanks was fairly rusted inside but cleaned up great just soaking with vinegar then coating with 2 cycle oil. That one looks doable. Just do one at a time
I think you'll find what rare parts that are available people are pretty proud of. Though you can find parts available though not oem which will work. I have recently picked up 3, 2 250's and a 360, none complete tho I think the 77 250 i can have running fairly easily. You might look up a guy on here named Dale Sweger, very knowledgeable and has a bunch of Yamaha enduro videos. Best of luck
In the day it was very common to replace the Phillips head bolts with Allen heads. You could buy kits with every size needed so they are a period modification. Hooker made very cool looking after market exhaust pipes as did several other manufacturers.
@@amraceway ok cool! I've seen pictures of the hooker pipes but haven't had my hands on one. Good to know on the bolts, I always just figured they would have been newer.
@@rotrodcentral The factory Phillips heads were one use wonders.
I bought the same throttle assembly 😂😂
@@coreyfuchs730 nice! How do you like it? It seems ok on my bike so far, but I don't have a complete carb so I can't get a really good feel for it.
The 125 and the 175 are identical bikes except the 125 was electric start and the 175 has a bigger bore and piston.
@@amraceway thanks for the info! I heard some of the parts interchanged but I never knew they were that similar
@@rotrodcentral I have several 175s. I bought a CT2 new in 1972. The 175 is actually lighter than the 125 because of the electric starter. The 250 and 360 are a similar deal being identical except for bore and piston. but much, much heavier than the 125s and 175s.
Nice Maryland collection!
@@franbacon82 thank you very much!

@@actuallydantestherapistsome are mine/family..flea markets, ebay and other places

Plug the holes, High pressure power wash, liberal amounts of WD40, Rustoleum rust reformer on sheet metal parts then take apart. Make it easier.
@@ivanhorban340 I'll definitely have to keep that in mind for next time! This one went straight to the machine shop but this definitely won't be the last small block I mess with.
For sale?
