I just got mine and the tank trailer.
nice I like those tanker trailers a lot!
@ I want to stretch out the frame and little. But I need some who would be willing to help me do that kind of awesome work.
Awesome!!! How did you lower your truck? I have a tamiya grand hauler.
@@arni7810 thanks! It’s not really any lower, just slightly bent leafs and a low hanging bumper
@kennyfrommodesto1 ohh ok cool!!!
@kennyfrommodesto1 what voltage size battery you using?
@@arni7810 I use 6 cell, 7.2v NiMh stick packs in my semis. Cheap $18 ones from Amazon made by Zeee batteries.
@kennyfrommodesto1 wait! I've being looking on Amazon for one but I can't seem to find one..the one I have is only 1800mah..I have the deans plug which isn't popular..maybe that why. The connector in my rig which I bought built used has a deans plug. I can't find a deans plug 7.2v nimh 3000mah or more. 😒
These chassis look so nice! It's great to have another choice in the Clod Buster chassis world.
This looks so good!
@@MysticRiverRC thanks it looks really nice in person too.
😮 oh sorry bout the bug
@@CarolynRadaich I got the need for speed
Love the old cabover Semi's. I had an uncle who was an owner/operator and had one back in the 70's/80's. I got to ride in it once when he went to bring it home from a shop. Cool experience for a kid!
Yeah I love them too I remember seeing them all over as a kid and they remind me of that time, now it's very rare for me to see one on the road
Finally got my Globeliner and tank trailer. Love the music.
Thanks. I like the tanker trailers too, they fit the style of the Globeliner very well IMO
Want to build me an old 91 HESS GASOLINE. but I have no way of getting or making them.
@@clintkeene1146 The old green and white? That would be cool. You'd have to custom paint everything. You'd probably have the only one!
Nice clean-looking build, those tires look great on there. I did my 80's Bruiser in yellow too, with tan interior. I have the HP tranny in it because the original wore out. I miss the 750 motor and the sound the tranny made in low, but these HP trannys and the motor they come with are really smooth and efficient and you can change the pinion gear. The HG tranny is way easier to rebuild than the original bruisers. Even a caveman could do it. 😋 I have a body and suspension lift on mine.
Thanks! One thing that stood out to me when I first drove it was how quiet and smooth the motor/trans was.
Cool Rig. I just received my king hauler today. I've wrenched on full size for decades. I even designed and 3D printed a toyized 1/14 version of the Green Goblin from Maximum Overdrive. But this is my first 1/14 kit. Looking forward to it. I think i'll try to hold off till this weekend to start. I did an unboxing today and verified everything is there. I do some 3d designing in blender and what not. It's tempting to build it then start taking it apart and customizing. Depends how well my customization designs turn out I guess. If I do customize I don't want to do a caricaturized toyized version of anything this time. I want to maintain a scale replica of a real rig.
Thanks. The hardest part of the Tamiya semi build is the transmission. I had to build mine twice because it wouln't shift because I had a rod in backwards. I found a very helpful step by step video on building the trans on TH-cam. Good luck with your build and custom parts!
@@kennyfrommodesto1I have the R620, King Hauler, and currently building the 770S. If you ever get an 770S, be prepared to test your patience on the cab. That makes the tranny feel easy in comparison lol
Did you paint it with TAMIYA TS-47?
@@MrSpongeGt No, I used TS-16 yellow, and TS-13 Clear
@@kennyfrommodesto1 Thank you very much!
@@kennyfrommodesto1 Is the appearance between, without and with clear coat very different? Did you applied the clear coat after applying the decals (stickers)?
@@MrSpongeGt The clear coat did not make much difference in the appearance. just a little bit more glossy look. It should protect the paint though. I put the clear on before the decals.
You have the best Globe Liner video on youtube! I really like the light condition and the area as film set! Well explained and nice setup of "realistic" steering speed. There are not many who think about that. I just ordered my own "Globi".
@@MrSpongeGt thanks! Have fun building yours it’s nice to build but takes a long time. Post a video when you’re done
Proper horn, proper soundtrack...you got er nailed. hehehehe. Really nice job on the model too.
@@zero318 thanks! 🙏
how much
This is absolutely beautiful! Th only tthing I noticed was that if you would also paint the black window trims it would be perfect.
@@driftin90src thanks! I considered doing that but I don’t have the skill to do it lol
I think you just sold me this truck😂
I recommend this truck if you like old school semi trucks!
nice classic truck love it!
@@Dragon69FlyTeam thank you 🙏
That’s awesome. I bought a custom built flatbed and now I’m seeing what truck I want to get.
Looks good 👍🏻
@@RobertRC thank you, I did box art and colors with white primer and clear coat over the yellow.
What motor are you running and does it have a reduction gearbox unit thanks!!!
@@johnh282 80t motor from Amazon, no gear reduction
@ thanks for the info, I just noticed that the speed of your rig looks close to scale thanks again

Agreed...... also ive seen this style paint in opposite direction pink over blue .It belonged to friend of my dads sister ....license plate said 'TooPink' ..seeing 2 grown 250 men (these dudes would regularly drive this from Pismo Beach to Santa Maria Speedwway ...) This build gave me that memory thank you
Thanks for commenting I’m glad it brought up good memories!

Love that paint job. Great stuff man. I'll be watching for more from you.

all you need is the white bed shell and the pizza planet sign
That would be REALLY cool!

2.2" Proline Trencher tires
Wow! Great truck! Excellent overview. Pretty sweet clone. Liked and subbed, Cheers!
Thank you!
Just found your channel. Congrats on your 50 mph. Just subbed
@@JoevsRc thanks! 50mph was harder to achieve with this chassis than I thought it would be.
Nice job!
@@poorboysrc thanks!
Nice run.
@@Paul__FC thanks! This motor/esc had a lot more to give, I just can’t keep the chassis going straight past 50mph !
Nice!
Thanks!
My Gnss was all screwed up yesterday, 9/15/24. I mean bad. It refused to zero out and just sitting still it was going 12 mph according to the SkyRC. Some gps satilites. Also aborted starts.
OK that's good, so my GNSS is probably still good and should would Friday when I hit the pavement again!
They have gone to Plaid! Just subbed. Welcome to the show 1:57 Got some Eddie Van Halen going there with the paint. 4:03 the dreaded pinion to spur sound.
Yes I tried to to an EVH paint theme in the PoorBoys colors. I knew someone would recognize it!
That's a fast car! Welcome to the 2024 SRC!
Thanks!
Another gorgeous truck bro! Looks so good in yellow. And great tire choice. 😎🤙🏽
Thanks!
@kennyfrommodesto1 are those proline trencher tires?
@@brsrc759 Yes they are in 2.2" size
@kennyfrommodesto1 😎🤙🏽
Awesome rig👍🏾🔥
Thank you!
The difference is quality what ya got there is made in China
Made in China means nothing nowadays. There are some very poor products made there but there are also some amazing high quality RC products from there. Same with any country, you get what you pay for but in many cases, you get a lot more for your money when buying from Asia.
Kool.looking rigg
Thanks!
Have 1 myself, color looks good. If you want better handling, do the servo mod. Ampro Engineering showed a lot of mods for it. 👍😁
@@zacharydalton412 thanks, I’ll check it out
Perhaps companies will stop doing business in China. Any kinda patent protections are null and void once a product is made there. Trying to sue them... will be trying to sue the government of China.
Really nice, great paint
@@dutchbeef8920 thanks man!
Super nice Tamiya. The rims and tires look spectacular. You really scored a nice truck that performs and looks Awesome!

Those are certainly the drift tires. I have the same ones from 2002. That car would have come with treaded tires for sure. My 2002 nitro rs4 3 type ss came with treaded rubber tires. I've upgraded with several other sets of tires for different scenarios. Overall that one is crazy clean! 😊😊❤❤
