Dual-Toned Macrame Keychain
A quick and easy dual-toned macrame keychain that uses mainly double half hitches. Surely a great project for fundraising or personal use.

Planting Seedlings | My Own and Store-Bought Starts | Gardening Honor
มุมมอง 412 ปีที่แล้ว
A few days after prepping the garden bed, we are ready to plant. (Some people say to wait 2-3 weeks after tilling the soil to plant your seedlings, but I can't wait anymore.) This is just a straightforward planting of my own and some store-bought seedlings. A few things to remember, though: * Don't step on the planting bed as it will compact the soil, which then defeats the purpose of tilling. ...
How To Prepare A Garden Bed | Gardening Honor
มุมมอง 432 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video, I'm going to show you 3 steps on how to prepare a garden bed. Just to be clear, there are multiple ways to prepare a planting bed. The method I'm showing you is what works for me personally. My garden bed is about 5x6 feet (30 square feet) and it took me a little over 30 minutes to complete the job. The Pathfinder Gardening Honor, however, requires you to work on a 100-square-foo...
Seed start update | What's eating my seedlings? | Gardening Honor
มุมมอง 262 ปีที่แล้ว
Just a quick update on the seeds that I started on April 15th. Today is May 9th. Most of the seeds have sprouted, although some like the Cayenne Pepper just started sprouting. Also I noticed some of the seedlings have been chewed on. Couldn't find the culprit, until today. Can you guess what it is? Watch 'til the end to find out!!
Building a raised garden bed out of 2x12 boards | Pathfinder Gardening Honor
มุมมอง 1.8K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Just a word of caution: If you're planning to use pressure-treated lumber, it would be wise to check the label to ensure it's safe for raised garden. From what I read, the wood preservatives being used nowadays are recognized to be universally safe. Some suggest to line the inside of the wood with plastic sheeting or plant 12 inches away from the wood in case of leaching. Alternatively you can ...
Starting vegetables from seeds | Why is it called eggplant? | Pathfinder Gardening Honor
มุมมอง 362 ปีที่แล้ว
Starting vegetables from seeds can be done indoors in Spring to get ahead in the growing season, especially when the ground is not yet suitable for direct ground sowing. You can use a seed starting mix and a mini greenhouse for this.
How to make a Unity (Awareness) Ribbon Keychain
มุมมอง 3632 ปีที่แล้ว
Unity and/or Awareness Ribbons are used for different causes with each represented by different color/s. I want to show you a simple way to make a unity/awareness keychain just using the 4-strand square braid technique.
How to weave a cute envelope purse using cardboard hand loom
มุมมอง 3113 ปีที่แล้ว
First time weaving! Although definitely not the best, this would be enough to complete item #3 on the Weaving Honor. The cardboard loom size certainly can be adjusted depending on how big or small you want your project to end. And certainly, you can use any kind, color, or size of yarn for this project. As you can tell, I don't sew well. And not really sure how to properly secure the whip stitc...
Macrame - Tricolored Key Fob
มุมมอง 2303 ปีที่แล้ว
Here's a simple macrame key fob project, using cords of 3 different colors. For this project, you will need 8 total cords, measuring 2 feet each. You decide which colors you like. Just make sure your 2 mounting cords are the same color as the darkest of the three. This will make it easy to hide the melted ends. Knots used include alternating square knots, reverse lark's head with a half hitch, ...
Paper Quilling - Simple Daffodils
มุมมอง 2.8K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Easy sample quilling project. This floral design uses marquise, tight circle, and teardrop shapes. I used 5 mm paper strips for all except for the daffodil corona part with which I used 10 mm strip. I used a motorized slotted needle and a stencil, but you don't need them to complete this project.

Quilling Tools - Quilling Paper Crimper
How is it used?
This is perfect, thanks!
You're welcome!
What's thet tool called?
Quilling slotted needle
Great instruction! No wasted time on talking.
Glad it was helpful!
Interesting: You're tying two half-hitches on the standing end. Wikipedia shows a Magnus hitch on the standing end, ie reversing direction between the half hitches. Several other youtube knotters put two half hitches on the pipe itself. I even found a seemingly experienced youtuber putting the half hitches on the pipe itself, but loading the pull the opposite way.
I have watched so many videos and tried to understand this braid. Thank YOU... I think I've got it now!!
Glad I could help!
Thanks dude
No problem
cool
thanks
nice
Thanks
thank you very much
You are welcome
What knot did you use to tie 3 ropes together
it depends on how you want it to look. a simple overhead knot or a binding knot should work
👍
thanks
Nice ❤ thanks for sharing ❤

How is that different from the alpine butterfly knot? Is that another name for it?
they are different. man harness knot is also called the artillery loop
ty bro<3
you're welcome
So I'm fairly new to this type of arts and crafts. Although your video doesn't highlight that slit on the end of the quilling tool. It's the only video I've seen give a close visual. From watching your video I finally figured out how to correctly use the quilling tool. I had no idea there was a slit on that end. Total game changer!
glad the video helped
Hmm I learned this knot by the name Artillery Loop.. and tie it differently but the in the end it looks the same
artillery loop is another name for this
Nicee
Thanks
Finally!!!! A video in which someone is actually trying to help you understand as opposed to showing off how quickly they can braid. Thank you!
You're welcome!
THANK YOU for making it so simple.
You're welcome!
Very simple and easy for the beginners
Glad you think so!
Conseguir 👏👏🤭🤩 obrigada
You're welcome!
Thank you, I’ll definitely try your suggestions. Happy quilling!
you're welcome
My coils won’t unwind, what am I doing wrong
I am not really sure. I am also new to this craft. But I noticed that if I worked the paper strip multiple times because of mistakes, it wouldn't unwind that much anymore. Try a new strip, and try not to wind it too tightly and hold it too long in your fingers maybe. Hope it helps!
pathfinder trying to get the quilling honor so thank you
glad to be of help!
thank you :)
You're welcome!
Nice video dude
Thanks!
Not tied correctly
This is how I learned it: Wind the working end around the pipe 4 or 5 times and then tying it on to the standing part with double half hitches or clove hitch. I've seen people use a lark's head knot to secure theirs. I know there's another method where you form a bight first before wrapping it around the pipe. Please enlighten if the info I got is incorrect. Thank you!
@@RoadToMasterGuide The proper pipe hitch ends with the clove hitch tied around the pipe, not the rope.
@@benjaminvalenzuela3948 i believe that's also one way to finish the knot, by tying it on to the pipe itself instead of the standing part of the rope.
What is this supposed to be good for? For directional pull for pipes and cylinders a Timber hitch or a rolling hitch cannot be improved on.
directional pull, yes
good start , but a clean pipe and better angle for the camera will improve the video so much.
I agree. Will do a better job next time. Thanks for the feedback!
Absolutely useless. You couldn't even see the most important part of the knot.
Thanks for your feedback! Will do better next time!
Thanks this was helpful
You're welcome!!
Just an Arbor knot with a figure 8 instead of an overhand.
basically
Very nice 👍
Thank you 👍
Oh great work dear
Thanks!
Buenas noches, cuál es el fin del objeto fabricado? Saludos y gracias por compartir.
I apologize, but I don't understand Spanish. But if you're asking for a completed project (I'm assuming, coz I only ran your words on to a translator online), I'm getting some stuff ready to video. Some beginner's one, though. But thank you for your comment!
@@RoadToMasterGuide OK, thanks for you reply. PD : I don't know speak English.
A beautiful knot, thank for sharing.
Thank you!
No blah, blah, blah. Straight to the point with clear visual of each turn.
Thanks! I try to keep it simple.
