The penny/1 cent coins from before 1857 were almost that size..

They are nice coins but they can get expansive, anywhere from $50 to a couple hundred dollars. I bought this one as an investment.

This is the first batch I have collected of them.

Yes it is my favorite also. They were only made for 9 years from 1864 to 1873. Most Americans are unaware they were ever made. I also like the "trime" - a three cent American coin that had a very limited run in the 1800's (1851-1873).

Yes another area/country that no longer exists that made its own coins. I was not aware the coins from Russia and Norway from the 1800's were so valuable until recently. The copper coins from the 1800's seem to age well.

I am glad you like it....I like obscure and little known areas to collect coins from. I have made videos on Saarland and Nagorno-Karabakh coins as well. I plan on making videos on Cabinda (Angolan exclave), Goa, and other obscure or micronations coins. I wish I could get some Sealand coins that were not too expensive- I have not found any yet.

@@RylosIncCoins-sm9ns see if you take them from street vendors then it will be 200 or 300 dollars but they could be fake and there quality will be worse if you find them in exhibition then it will be in good condition you will get its details and it will be real but price could be 500 to 400 dollars

yes they are if you find them in street then it could be fake in bad codition and could come for 200- 300 dollars but in exhibition they are real buyers gives good condition and gives detail but they could be 500 dollar per piece
